Dear Facebook family and friends,
It is with deep sadness that I share with you the passing of our Advisory Council member, Jack Dover, who passed away on Saturday Oct. 3rd.
Jack was a remarkable person, a dear friend, mentor, amazing veteran advocate, and true champion for our Veterans. He helped U.S.VETS Phoenix and the Veterans we serve in so many ways, from helping us secure our new home and attaining funding to advocating for Veterans and helping us make a difference in their lives.
I know without a doubt that Jack will be deeply missed by our Veterans, U.S.VETS Phoenix, and everyone whose life he touched. But his legacy will live on through the many lives he impacted and the difference he made.
As I reflect on Jack’s passing, I am reminded that life is short and that we should make the most of each day as if it were our last. Jack showed us the importance of making a difference through kindness, compassion, service, and advocacy.
Jack, my dear friend, thank you for choosing me, believing in me, and choosing U.S.VETS Phoenix. Your friendship, guidance, and dedication will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Rest peacefully, Jack. Your legacy will live on.
With love and gratitude,
Michelle Jameson U.S.VETS Phoenix
