Dear Hidden Lakes Homeowners,

As we approach the upcoming election cycle, please review the following guidelines regarding political signs. These rules are based on Arizona law and the Association’s governing documents to ensure both compliance and community standards are maintained.

📅 Display Period

Political signs may be displayed beginning May 7, 2026 (71 days prior to the primary election).
Signs must be removed within 15 days after the applicable election (primary or general, depending on the candidate outcome).

📏 Size & Quantity

The total combined area of all political signs per lot (including window displays) may not exceed nine (9) square feet.
Signs must also comply with any applicable City of Phoenix regulations.

📍 Placement & Installation

Signs must be placed on the owner’s property and installed in a reasonable and secure manner.
Installation must not damage or permanently alter common elements or Association-maintained surfaces.
Loose, damaged, or improperly installed signs may be subject to removal.

🚫 Prohibited Practices

Attaching signs in a way that causes damage to buildings, walls, or other structures.
Placement that creates a safety hazard or obstructs walkways, visibility, or access.

🚪 Political Activity
Political canvassing and related activity are permitted in accordance with Arizona law. All individuals must comply with community access procedures and be properly identified where applicable.

The Association’s goal is to respect homeowners’ rights while preserving the appearance, safety, and integrity of the community. We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines.
