Jews Can Shoot

Jews Can Shoot Jews Can Shoot represents the intersection of Jewish identity, historical memory, and the fundamental human right of self-defense. Jews Can Shoot.

As a civil rights group, it honors the Holocaust’s memory while defending the Second Amendment. Jews Can Shoot is a civil rights and advocacy group, honoring the memory of the Holocaust to preserve, protect, and defend the Second Amendment. Jews Can Shoot understands the outcome of gun control which leads to the inability of self-defense and far too often the atrocities of repressive governments.

Both parents of Jews Can Shoot founder, Doris Wise, survived the horrors of the Holocaust and met in a Displaced Persons camp in Germany. They married and moved to Toronto, Canada. The family moved to the US and proudly became citizens. Based upon the history and survival of her parents Doris realized she can never take her safety for granted. It has been Doris’s aim to educate the public that, as Prime Minister Netanyahu said,

“It is so much easier to talk about the lessons learned from the past than to implement them in the present and the future. But we, the Jewish people, cannot ignore the lessons learned from the Holocaust, as they apply to the present day.”

Jews Can Shoot was formed in 2013 for education and advocacy regarding gun laws, gun rights, legal precedent, and cause-related advocacy. Jews Can Shoots warns how the political and cultural events of today are reminiscent of those that preceded the Holocaust. Jews Can Shoot fulfills the moral imperative to protect the Jewish people from ever being helpless again. As Doris states, “It is the best way I have found to honor my parents and all the survivors, as well as the millions of victims who perished.” This passion has driven Doris to her next path with Jews Can Shoot. Jews Can Shoot both educates and advocates for gun rights of all citizens, not just Jews. The power of the Second Amendment is that it lays the foundation for all Americans that self-defense is a natural human right. No government, anywhere in the world, should have the power to deny its citizens of the right of self-protection. Jews experienced the impact of such gun control during the Holocaust. Now is the time for both Jew and non-Jew in the United States to be proactive advocates for the Second Amendment. President and Founder Doris Wise remains passionate about her mission based on her knowledge of history and the outcome of restrictive gun control legislation. We believe that “Never Again” should be a call to action, not just a slogan. And that is why Doris, child of Holocaust survivors, created Jews Can Shoot. Jews Can Shoot proves that we have, in fact, learned from history. NOTE: You do not have to be Jewish or a child of Holocaust survivors to support Jews Can Shoot. All Americans should support the Second Amendment that codifies our God-given rights to defend ourselves against a tyrannical government. No one better than Jews to understand what a tyrannical government can do and has done. THERE IS NO ONE WHO HAS A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE POWER OF AN ARMED CITIZEN THAN THE JEW. We know how it starts. You know how it ends.

That is what The People must demand. Individual court cases are not going to stop the abuses of the ATF. Most of their abuses never even make it to court.

The ATF operates with enormous power, little meaningful oversight, and virtually no real accountability. Bureaucrats issue interpretations, redefine terms, destroy lives, and move on while ordinary Americans pay the price.

The only way we will ever stop the unconstitutional overreach, manufactured interpretations, and unchecked abuse of power is to abolish the ATF.

The ATF must be abolished, and the National Fi****ms Act (NFA) repealed. The ATF ranks among the most notorious of the rogue government agencies. Worse, it is tasked with overseeing a Constitutional right—the Second Amendment—but repeatedly violates it without consequence. Reforming the ATF is n...

Lee Williams is one of the very few journalists who has consistently exposed the Tate Adamiak case for what it really represents: the dangerous power of unelected federal agencies to destroy the lives of Americans through manufactured interpretations and unchecked bureaucratic authority.

They call us “infidels.” Fine. This infidel is armed.

The Armed Infidel Cap is a statement of defiance against jihad, intimidation, and those who believe civilized people should live in fear.

I agree with this comment left on this article: "I agree in part and disagree in part. For the Roberts’ court, it was a busy year with all Democrat shenanigans that were handled on the emergency docket. But there were so many other cases that deserved a quick GVR or brief per curium ruling without a hearing but instead were denied cert. Especially with today’s denial of the Adamiak case.
Despite looking forward to an AWB/magazine ban case next year, it will likely be so narrow as to be near useless and we won’t get the decision until the justices have one foot in the airport cab in June 2027. Justice delayed while $10s of millions are wasted reclaiming a right that should have been clearly and broadly adjudicated years ago."

The Supreme Court passed on AR-15 and magazine ban cases this term, but that does not mean the Justices are dodging the Second Amendment. A packed docket may have pushed the fight to the next term.

“If these reforms prove anything, it’s that the ATF knew it was pushing too far—and now it’s trying to pull back just enough to survive,” the report concluded. “Gun owners shouldn’t let that happen.”

I agree with this article — every word. And have said the same.

Texas Gun Rights says the DOJ’s new ATF reform package doesn’t restore gun rights—it helps preserve the agency’s power.
