One of the most rewarding parts of our work is supporting people who are deeply committed to their communities.

It captures what made the Lending Learning Lab so special: thoughtful conversations, shared experiences, and a group of leaders all working toward the same goal of expanding opportunity through access to capital.

75 new affordable homes are coming to Oakland.

The Unity Council and Eden Housing recently broke ground on 2700 International, a new development that will bring affordable housing to Oakland families by 2028.

Community leaders, partners, and residents gathered to celebrate the milestone, including Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee, RDF Board Member Noni Ramos, and RDF staff members Mick Acevedo and Elias Salgado, who support RDF’s housing investment work.

Desert Cove Apartments is now open in Tucson, Arizona—bringing new affordable housing to the community.

At the ribbon cutting, a new resident shared what this meant for her and her family. Moments like that are why this work matters.

A new clinic in Julian, Ca, is now open—bringing medical, dental, and behavioral health services closer to home for the community.

We joined San Ysidro Health to celebrate this milestone and the work behind it.

Projects like this mean people can access care without traveling hours to get it.

Grateful to partner with San Ysidro Health and PNC Bank to help bring this to life.

Last week, leaders from 20 organizations across 12 states and Puerto Rico wrapped the Lending Learning Lab.

Together, they’ve already helped reach more than 9,400 small businesses—and deployed over $5.3 million in their communities.

That’s what expanding access to capital looks like on the ground.
