Domestic violence isn’t just physical—it comes in many forms, each leaving lasting emotional, psychological, and financial scars. Recognizing the signs is the first step to breaking free.
Here are some types of abuse to be aware of:
💔 Physical Abuse – Hitting, choking, shoving, or any form of bodily harm.
🗣 Verbal & Emotional Abuse – Constant criticism, humiliation, and manipulation designed to break your confidence and self-worth.
🧠 Narcissistic Abuse – Gaslighting, love bombing, and control tactics that make you doubt reality and feel trapped in a toxic cycle.
📵 Psychological Abuse – Isolation, threats, and intimidation to instill fear and dependence.
💰 Financial Abuse – Controlling access to money, sabotaging employment, or accumulating debt in your name to keep you powerless.
📱 Digital Abuse – Cyberstalking, controlling social media, or demanding access to personal devices to monitor and manipulate.
💞 Sexual Abuse – Coercion, manipulation, or force in any sexual situation, even in a relationship.
