MALT is so proud to offer a class taught by Tricia and Yahya the past few MALT terms -- called "Wrongful Convictions: How Systemic Failures Impact Innocent Lives" students can learn about Yahya's story and how wrongful convictions can occur at various levels of the justice system.

This fall, we are also offering a more intensive 3-week class titled "Introduction to Restorative Justice" where participants can learn what to do about it. Through an interactive community building circle, a restorative conference, and a reintegration circle, students will experience the three core "tiers" of restorative justice firsthand.

You may have noticed it gets a little bit quiet at MALT in July and August. Our upcoming classes page may look sparse, but that’s because we are busy finalizing the details for over 270 FALL CLASSES!

Fall is our biggest term, and it will not disappoint! You will find all the favorites, like ballroom dance, pickleball, tai chi, mah jongg, foraging, and line dancing — PLUS, some new offerings that you’ve been asking for: macrame, evening watercolor classes, Nia dance, canasta, adult gymnastics, flower arranging, and much, much, much more! You can do it all this fall — learn a new language, try out a new dance, pick up a new craft, and make some new friends!

You’ll be able to browse all of the classes and register online beginning at noon on Wednesday August 19th.
