Mud Pies and Soap Suds! 🧽🫧

Since we raised our goal of $65,000 (and then some) for the Race for Education 2026, Mr. Deane had to face a gauntlet of mud pies thrown by our top fundraisers, and walk through a student-powered human car wash. He got soaked with water sprayers, sudsed up with sponges, wiped down with mops and pool noodles, and even blow-dried with a leaf blower! What a perfect finish to yet another wonderful Race! Thank you all for the many parts you played to make this year another incredible success.

Car Wash Complete! 🧽🫧

Since we raised our fundraising goal for the Race for Education, Mr. Deane had to face a gauntlet of mud pies and a student-fueled carwash today! The students were just a *bit* excited. We will have more pictures and video coming of the festivities, so keep an eye out!

Award Winners! 🏆

Along with the big announcement that we raised our fundraising goal, we also got to announce all the award winners from this year's Race for Education at our special assembly yesterday. We handed out trophies to the top male and female runners in each class (who also turned in labels), as well as a certificate for the top fundraisers, who will also get to enjoy a meal specially served by our head of school, Mr. Deane! Let's give them a round of applause for their achievement! 👏🏽

The final Race for Education 2026 results are in! 👀

Our final numbers have been calculated and... WE DID IT AGAIN! 🥳 We raised our goal of $65,000 and then some! The final total that our awesome community helped us raise is $72,165!! That means that next week Wednesday, June 3rd, Mr. Deane has to face a gauntlet of mud pies and a student-powered, human carwash! Are you ready?! 🧽🫧

What an amazing gift for our families that will receive these scholarship funds to help keep HPCA's quality, Christian education affordable for them. Thank you to everyone who donated, who came out to support the students on the day of the Race, and who continues to pray for and walk with us through each school year. God's love has shown itself to be so steadfast each year, and you all are evidence of that love to us.

Favorites Friday! 🤩

The final day of our theme week was "Favorites Friday!" The students got to dress in their favorite outfits, and we hosted a talent show for everyone to display their favorite talents and abilities they have. We love seeing our students display their gifts. They are a talented bunch!

They're The Best Thursday! 🧑🏾‍🏫

Thursday of last week's theme week was our teacher appreciation day! Students dressed up like different teachers and staff members, and the student council served the teaching staff a special meal to thank them for all their hard work. We are so grateful for all the incredible work our teachers do to make our classrooms an environment of Christ-centered learning and growth. Please join us in giving thanks to and for our teachers!

Worldwide Wednesday! 🌍

For "Worldwide Wednesday," each grade studied a different country in depth and prepared a variety of presentations based on their country. Each class then toured around to each classroom in order to see the other exhibits and learn more about the nations represented. God has given us such a rich world filled with so many cultures, and we love that we get to see a living celebration of this variety each day at HPCA! Take a look at some of this celebration!

Teamwork Tuesday! 🧩

The second day of our theme week was "Teamwork Tuesday." Students were assigned to wear a specific team color and had to face several challenges along with their teammates. They competed in gaga ball and tug-of-war, participated in a scavenger hunt, challenged each other in sack races, and gave directions to their blindfolded partners to guide them safely through obstacles. These activities were not only a ton of fun, but also taught the importance of working together toward a goal. Take a look at the photos!
