Student Council! 🎒

Today we announced the students who were elected onto our student council! Each class in 4th-8th grade nominated a member of their class to represent them on the council. On top of this, any students who were interested in being special office-bearers presented speeches before the school administration, expressing why they would be fit for the role. These are the students who were nominated and selected by their peers and the administrative team.

Throughout the year, they will help to plan and run school-wide events, family nights, theme week, and more. Please join us in congratulating them and praying they represent their class, and Jesus, well!

First week fun! 🤩

With so many exciting things kicking off the first week, we wanted to post another album to share the joy. We welcomed everyone back with a special "Prep Rally" to get the students energized for the school year, launched lunchtime, and got the middle school students settled in with their lockers and class rotations. Here are some glimpses into a day in the life of an HPCA student! ☺️

First day photos! 📝 📸

Our first day back was one filled with so much celebration and joy. As students and families approached the door, they were greeted by a giant inflatable arch and cheering staff members, equipped with pompoms and excited smiles. Though we are always sad to leave the students at the end of the day, we love to hear the enthusiastic stories about what happened at school continue being shared with family members. Our hope is that this same level of celebration sustains throughout the school year as we continue to share stories and cheer our students on!

First day finished! 🥳

We had a wonderful day today, welcoming so many smiling faces, both familiar and freshly new. We are so grateful for the group of students and families that God has brought into our doors. We trust He has good plans for the 2026-2027 school year! Keep an eye out for more first week pictures, and a reel of our special “prep” rally coming soon! It is so good to be back!

8th Grade Graduates! 🎓🥳

Last Friday, we got to celebrate and send out our 8th grade graduates! We are so proud of the work they put in to complete their time at HPCA, and wait with eagerness to see what their time in high school brings. Between singing about the victory they have in Jesus, hearing Mrs. Figueiredo encourage them to always pursue God's will instead of their own, and affirming the gifts of the Spirit they see in each other, our 8th graders are going out with lots of encouragement. Please join us in adding to that encouragement!
