🎢 Music for Mom 9 Artist Spotlight #7 of 14

We're excited to welcome Jason Being & The Human Condition to Music for Mom for the first time.

Led by Finger Lakes singer-songwriter Jason Being, the band blends folk, Americana, and alt-rock with a powerful and dynamic live sound. Jason's songwriting dives into loss, introspection, and the messy, complicated parts of being human, creating songs that are both deeply personal and easy to connect with.

Jason has become a familiar face in the local music scene, constantly writing, performing, collaborating, and supporting the musicians around him. We're excited to finally have him and The Human Condition be part of the Music for Mom family.

Catch Jason Being & The Human Condition on the Main Stage Saturday, September 12 from 2:45–3:25 PM as part of another incredible weekend supporting the Music Therapy Program at Golisano Children's Hospital.

🎢 Music for Mom 9 Artist Spotlight #6 of 14

We're excited to welcome Growl Bear to Music for Mom for the first time!

Hailing from the Rochester area, Growl Bear brings together Alt-Country, Americana, and Folk Rock with a sound rooted in great songwriting and plenty of musical influences. Built around the songs of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (and all around great guy) Jeremy Button, the band's music draws from artists like The Jayhawks, Wilco, Old 97's, Jason Isbell, The Avett Brothers, and The Felice Brothers.

With veteran songwriter TJ Beyer adding his own influences and perspective, Growl Bear has developed a distinctive live sound. Brendan and Stew hold down the rhythm section and the whole thing comes together with plenty of vocal harmonies.

We're excited to have Growl Bear join us for their first Music for Mom and bring their blend of roots, rock, and Americana to the weekend, all in support of the Music Therapy Program at Golisano Children's Hospital.

Catch Growl Bear on Saturday, September 12 from 1:45–2:25 PM.

🎢 Music for Mom 9 Artist Spotlight #4 of 14

Friday night belongs to the Old World Warblers.

Making their fifth appearance at Music for Mom and headlining the opening night of the festival, The Old World Warblers have become part of the fabric of what makes this weekend so special.

Featuring Hannah Farley, Tim Clayton Braley and Scott Calpin, the trio has earned a devoted following with heartfelt songwriting, beautiful vocal harmonies, and a folk sound that's both timeless and uniquely their own.

Off the stage, Hannah, Tim & Scott are some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. That same honesty shines through in every performance, creating the kind of connection that stays with you long after the last song.

We're honored to have them back to close out Friday night and help kick off another incredible Music for Mom weekend. Every performance helps support the Music Therapy Program at Golisano Children's Hospital, and we couldn't think of a better way to end Night One.

Catch The Old World Warblers on Friday, September 11 from 8:00–9:00 PM.

🎢 Music for Mom 9 Artist Spotlight #3 of 14

Some artists have a way of pulling you into a song and making you feel every word. That's exactly what Travis Prinzi does.

An experienced performer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Travis has one of the most unique voices in the Finger Lakes. His songs are delivered with honesty, heart, and an intoxicating style of storytelling that keeps audiences hanging on every line.

Whether performing his own original material or interpreting songs from artists who have inspired him, Travis brings a thoughtful, authentic approach to every performance. It's the kind of thing that stays with you long after the show is over.

You may know Travis from the The Travis Prinzi Band, the Bob Dylan Extravaganza, or his tribute to Gordon Lightfoot. This year, we're excited to welcome him to his first Music for Mom.

Catch Travis on Friday, September 11 from 6:50–7:40 PM as part of a weekend dedicated to supporting the Music Therapy Program at Golisano Children's Hospital.
