It was another fantastic ride to see the kids!!
Last Saturday, members of NY 30, along with members from Rochester Bikers for Christ and other friends visited with the campers at the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association, Inc. "Camp Courage", a summer camp for survivors of burn injuries. We were escorted in by East Campbell Fire Dept, then gave the kids many rides on the bikes, taking in the smiles and laughs from them all!!
After a great picnic lunch, a short program was delivered, recognizing their new camp organizers and volunteers. The program ended with President Chris presenting a donation check for $5,000 for the FLRBA.
For the last 20 years, our collaboration with the FLRBA and the Bikers for Christ have delivered over $70,000 in donations to these great campers and counselors!!

The annual FLRBA "Camp Courage" visit will be on Saturday, August 8. Riders can meet at three points on the way down:
-- We will leave Geneva from Bicentennial Park at 9:00 AM and go south.
-- We will stop for fuel, coffee and others at the Dandy Mini-Mart in Dundee by 10:00 AM.
-- Final gathering point before riding to camp (Watson Homestead) will be at East Campbell Fire Department by 11:00 AM.
Please let us know if you will be riding with us by sending a DM by August 1. If a group of you in a club are coming, all I need is the total from your group so that FLRBA knows how many of us are coming for lunch.
