Rest in Peace, Life Member Robert Nemec

It is with great sadness that we extend our deepest condolences to Cynthia, the Nemec family, their friends, and the entire Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office family on the passing of Robert Nemec, Retired Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office and Life Member of the Texas Crime Prevention Association (TCPA).

Robert’s dedication to public service and his commitment to protecting his community will not be forgotten. His service touched the lives of many, and his legacy will continue through the people and communities he served.

On behalf of the Texas Crime Prevention Association, we offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to his family, friends, and law enforcement brothers and sisters.

The Public Information Officer Course will be held August 17–19, 2026, at the Brazos Center in Bryan, Texas. This three-day course meets the PIO training requirements established under House Bill 33 — the Uvalde Strong Act.
