Service dog 101. If I am in a store with my service dog whether she is in training mode or not! Please do NOT allow your children to run up and try to pet my dog, then when I stop moving and say no ma’am we don’t pet service dogs your reply to me is (and in a nasty tone) “then just keep moving” Oh hell no! I am doing my job, I am keeping my dog still until I know we (including your child) is safe!

So my reply to her was “I am doing my job, not only am I protecting “YOUR” child I am protecting my dog, so EXCUSE YOU! And when I saw the child stop in place, then I moved forward! Ugh people do better

If I didn’t stop how do I know your child would have not come up behind my dog and pulled her tail or something please do better!
