REAGAN RIFLE AT FORBUSH FALCONS CAMP 2026

Six Raiders. Five days. Second through seventh place in a CMP-sanctioned match.

Last week, six members of the Reagan AFJROTC Rifle Team spent five days at Forbush High School in East Bend for the first-ever Forbush Falcons Rifle Camp — a full CMP curriculum week that ended in a sanctioned Cup Match and EIC match on Friday.

Sixteen athletes from four programs fired that match. Our six finished second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh.

[Kiley Driver] — 506, eleven inner tens, second overall, high kneeling stage of the entire match at 174, a new kneeling record, and Most Improved on Blue Team. Coming in as one of the most experienced athletes in the building and still finding room to grow is the hardest kind of improvement there is.

[Mason Sipe] — 504, third overall, and personal records in total score, prone, AND standing. Three in one afternoon.

[Madison Baires] — 492, nine inner tens, fourth overall, a Silver Achievement Pin, a personal record in kneeling at 167, and the Resilience Award. Thursday did not go her way. She rebuilt her kneeling position from scratch and then went out Friday and shot the best match of her life. That's the whole sport in one week.

[Tucker Goldwater] — 491, fifth overall, personal records in total score and standing. His 491 was a personal best by seven points.

[Brenin Fort] — 489, sixth overall, and a personal record in prone.

[Braden Huff] — 476, seventh overall, and five days of steady, disciplined work on the line.

Ten organizational and personal records were set at that camp. Our athletes own most of them.

To [Coach Doug McIntyre] — you registered our kids for this camp and then spent all five days on the firing line coaching everybody else's. Four other programs got the benefit of you last week. That's the standard you've set here and it's why this team is what it is.

To [Coach Rich Weiser] — you served as Match Director, which meant you belonged to all sixteen athletes that week, not just ours. We noticed the hat stayed in the truck. We understand exactly why now. Thank you for building something that a kid in this state can actually get to.

To [CW3 James Tiddy] and Forbush High School — thank you for opening your building, your range, and your gymnasium to our athletes.

To [Coach Sahi Weiser] and [Coach Angus Babcock] — thank you for giving up a week of your summer to coach kids who aren't yours. Our athletes came home talking about you.

And congratulations to Avery Edwards of West Forsyth, who won the match outright with a 518 and eleven inner tens. She was the only athlete her school sent. She earned every bit of it, and our athletes were cheering for her in that gym right along with everyone else.

That's what this camp was. Five programs in one room, nobody's team gear mattering for five days, and sixteen kids who all walked out with an official CMP score with their name on it.

Proud of our six. Proud of where they're headed.

RAIDER RIFLE. STEADY HANDS. FOCUSED MINDS. NEVER MISS.

🚨 Rx3 Travel Day Alert 🚨

The Reagan Raiders Rifle Team is on the move.

Today we head to Anniston, Alabama for the Air Force JROTC 3PAR National Championships. The top 18 teams in the nation will step to the line. We enter ranked 16th in the country. We are not satisfied with that number.

The past two weeks tested us. Snow and ice shut down school and disrupted our rhythm. While others rested, we adjusted. When the doors finally opened, we crammed in two intense days of focused, disciplined work. No excuses. No panic. Just refinement.

But championships are not built in two days. They are built in August practices. In early mornings. In match pressure. In every shot plan written. In every correction made. In every 10.3 that could have been a 10.6.

This team will rely on the foundation laid all season long.
The training.
The discipline.
The process.

The target does not care about rankings. It does not care about weather delays. It does not care about reputation. It only responds to ex*****on.

We travel as competitors.
We arrive as contenders.
We leave better than we came.

Steady Hands. Focused Minds. Never Miss.

Let’s make our mark. 🎯

The work never stops.

As we move deeper into the season, the Reagan Raiders Rifle Team (Rx3) is fully focused on preparing for the Air Force JROTC 3PAR Service Championships, to be held 12–14 February at the Judith Legerski CMP South Range in Anniston, Alabama. Only the top 18 Air Force JROTC rifle teams from across the nation earn the right to compete on that line, and once again, Reagan will be among them.

Preparation at this level is not about trophies on a shelf. It is about discipline, repetition, and trust in the process. Every practice matters. Every shot matters. Every athlete is working toward the same goal, not perfection, but consistency when it counts most.

This season is about building readiness the right way. Fundamentals first. Mental resilience. Shooting with intent. Supporting one another through the grind of training. Championships are not won in February. They are earned in the weeks and months leading up to it.

We are proud of the effort our athletes are putting in, grateful for the support of our families and community, and excited for the opportunity to measure ourselves against the best Air Force JROTC teams in the country once again.

Steady Hands. Focused Minds. Never Miss.

🎄 Season’s Greetings from the Reagan Raiders Rifle Team (Rx3) 🎯

As the year comes to a close, we want to wish our athletes, families, supporters, and the entire Raider community a safe and joyful holiday season.

This year was built on discipline, early mornings, long practices, and a shared commitment to excellence. Every shot fired reflected teamwork, focus, and pride in representing Reagan. None of it happens without the support behind the firing line.

Enjoy the holidays, recharge, and spend time with those who matter most. When we return, the work continues with steady hands, focused minds, and the same standard we hold ourselves to every day.

🎅🎯
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
