This Mother’s Day, we honor all mothers and also hold space for those carrying hardship, grief, or loss. Motherhood can be filled with deep love, joy, sacrifice, and challenges alike. Today, we’re thinking of every person whose journey has been touched by motherhood in some way.

Today we honor the moms who give everything for their little ones, and we thank our supporters who help us provide essential newborn care kits to families in need. Because something as simple as clean clothing, diapers, blankets, and hygiene essentials can make a world of difference for a new mother welcoming her baby into the world.

Together, we are helping families feel seen, supported, and cared for during life’s most precious moments.

Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the leading cause of death among infants aged 1 month to 1 year with an annual average of over 3,000 deaths in the United States. One of our missions at Newborns in Need is to help educate families to prevent SIDS. We recommend following the ABC method:
A: Alone
B: Back
C: Crib

Babies should be put to bed alone in an empty crib and on their backs. You should avoid any co-sleeping with parents, siblings or pets. Avoid using pillows, blankets, stuffed animals or other objects in the crib with your baby. These tips can help save a baby’s life!

Let’s continue advocating for healthier communities, supporting one another, and prioritizing well-being for ourselves and for each other.
