Yesterday, Infusion Worship celebrated our Class of 2026 graduates under the theme: Inspired to Grow. Infused to Lead. Educated for Impact.

From our youngest to college graduates, we are so proud of your hard work, perseverance, achievements, and next steps. We are praying that you continue to grow in wisdom, lead with purpose, and use your education to make a powerful impact wherever God sends you.

We were also blessed by a powerful message from Dr. Barbee Myers Oakes: “5 Ps to Make Your Vision a Reality.”
Purpose. Plan. Priorities. Perseverance. Prayer.

What a timely word for our graduates and all of us!

Most importantly, we rejoice that five young people gave their hearts to Christ. Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we!

🎓Meet Our Class of 2026 Graduation Speaker: Dr. Barbee Myers Oakes 🎓

Infusion Worship is honored to welcome our beloved, Dr. Barbee Myers Oakes, as the featured speaker for our Class of 2026 Graduation Celebration on Sunday, June 7, at 10 AM.

A nationally recognized workplace strategist and visionary leader, Dr. Oakes has spent over 40 years helping individuals, organizations, and institutions grow, lead, and thrive. She has served in inaugural executive leadership roles, including Chief Diversity Officer at the American Accounting Association, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Wake Forest University.

Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Oakes became the first Black woman to earn a doctoral degree in the American College of Sports Medicine and was recently honored with the prestigious Wake Forest University Distinguished Alumni Award for her lasting contributions and leadership.

As we celebrate graduates from Kindergarten through College and Adult Continuing Education, Dr. Oakes' journey of perseverance, excellence, leadership, and faith beautifully reflects our graduation theme:

This theme aligns with our vision at Infusion Worship to Inspire, Infuse, and Impact Our World. We believe every graduate has the potential to grow, lead, and make a meaningful difference wherever God leads them.

🎉 Congratulations to our very own Jerrin Moore! 🎉

Infusion Worship is incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by one of our church family members, Jerrin Moore, a student at Atkins High School.

Jerrin, along with his teammates Andrew Shih and Luis Cruz-Mondragon, developed an innovative AI-powered project focused on the early detection of Parkinson's disease. Their project, "Leveraging AI for Early Detection of Parkinson's Disease in Winston-Salem: A Community-Centered Solution," has earned them recognition as Regional Champions in the Presidential AI Challenge and the opportunity to compete in Washington, D.C. next week!

What an incredible example of using God-given gifts, creativity, and innovation to make a difference in the lives of others.

Please join us in praying for Jerrin and his team as they travel to Washington, D.C. Pray for safe travels, wisdom, confidence, and favor as they represent our community with excellence.
