What a wonderful surprise! A local rancher came by this morning and dropped off two large round bales, which will easily feed the donkeys at our satellite for a month or two. Did you know the PVDR main ranch in San Angelo, TX goes through 18 of these in ONE DAY? Even more now that they recently rescued 130 more donkeys in Missouri. This is a glimpse of some of the other creatures living in relative harmony with the donkeys at our satellite:
Barn cat Kit Kat lives in absolute harmony with the donkeys. He knows which donkeys are cool with him, and which ones don't care for him.
Nigerian Dwarf goats Payday and Snickers live in a pen that separates them from the donkeys. The donkeys like to watch them but could act aggressively if they were together.
Honeybees are outside the donkey area but not far away. They don't bother the donkeys.
