Another IMPACT brought to life! 💙🦉

Over the weekend, IMPACT 100 members celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida’s 2025 grant project, Moveable Habitats, Meaningful Messages.

Our members awarded a $103,500 Environment & Recreation grant to help create flexible, moveable habitats that expand the Sanctuary’s capacity to care for nearly 4,000 animal patients each year. These habitats are especially important because the Sanctuary’s current facility experiences severe flooding during heavy rain events—allowing animals to be moved quickly when needed and, eventually, relocated to a future facility.

What a joy to see the animals settled into their new homes! Congratulations to Emily, Leah and the entire Wildlife Sanctuary team, and thank you for your incredible commitment to protecting and rehabilitating Northwest Florida’s wildlife. 💙 Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida, Inc.

✨ Impromptu IMPACT: Lunch + Explore! ✨

Join us for our next Impromptu IMPACT as we check out two exciting new additions to Pensacola’s historic Belmont-DeVilliers neighborhood!

📍 Great Harvest Bakery & Café + Savoy Marketplace

We’ll start with lunch at the new Great Harvest Bakery & Café, known for its fresh-milled, made-from-scratch breads, sandwiches, salads and sweet treats. Then, we’ll head next door to explore the new Savoy Marketplace!

Designed as a walkable community gathering place, Savoy Marketplace is bringing together a fun mix of local food, shopping and wellness offerings—including farm-fresh products, artisanal gelato, flowers, specialty olive oils and balsamics, yoga, wine and tapas, and more.

IMPACT 100 members and guests are welcome! Come grab lunch, explore something new and enjoy a little IMPACT fellowship along the way. 💙

📚🚐 A classroom without walls!

Yesterday, IMPACT 100 was proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County Classroom on Wheels, funded through a 2025 IMPACT Grant.

This innovative mobile classroom brings books, hands-on learning, and early childhood resources directly to families across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, helping more children start school ready to learn.

Congratulations to the Early Learning Coalition on this exciting milestone—and thank you to our members for making projects like this possible!

❗Reminder ❗to join us Sunday, June 28 from 3-5pm for an ✨Impromptu IMPACT✨ event at DeLuna Lanes! All members are invited and may bring one female non-member (18 years or older) as a guest to come see what we're all about!

DETAILS: No need to RSVP, just show up. We will fill the lanes as we go. Bowling and shoe rental will be complimentary, we just ask you to come hungry and thirsty to enjoy their refreshments, purchased on your own. Please no outside food or beverage. Come at 3pm to enjoy the full two hours of play. We will need to stop promptly at 5pm. Dress casual, and don't forget your socks and name tag! Hope to see you there! 🎳💙

✨Remember to sign up for a Focus Area Committee before the June 22 deadline!✨

The five Focus Area Committees are forming now and will meet once a week from mid-July through August to review grant applications, conduct site visits, and ultimately select our finalists. This is a great way to get to know your fellow IMPACT 100 Members in a more personal setting and learn about so many great nonprofit organizations in our community. Committees meet at various times and locations throughout the week to best suit your needs.

💙GRANT TIPS TUESDAY💙

✨TIP #11: Today's tip is about using Community Force to submit your Grant Application!✨

Here are some tips and tricks so that you are a pro. Use Chrome or Firefox web browser for the best experience. Consider drafting your answers in Notepad or Word first, then copy/paste into the Community Force application. Remember to Save frequently. Make sure pop-ups are enabled in your browser for any important alerts. Be mindful of word counts in essay boxes. Lastly, when you're ready to submit, go back to your dashboard and hit the red "Final Review & Submit" button. You will receive a confirmation email if submitted properly.
