🐀 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐃 🐀
As our community faces the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias, we have made the decision to postpone our Rat Pack Reunion fundraiser, originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16. Our focus at this time is attending to our vulnerable elder clients as we coordinate assistance to those in need following this disaster.

Our staff is working hard to assess the post-storm situation for each of our elderly clients, and Florida Power & Light just dropped off a pallet of bottled water for those clients in need. FPL is continuing to work with us to get necessities to those unable to leave their homes, like homebound Meals on Wheels recipients. We're so grateful for community partnerships that allow us to coordinate assistance for our most vulnerable community members in this hour of need. ♥

Foster Grandparent volunteer Barbara loves serving with little ones at Child Discovery Center and says she’s not ready to slow down. She does word puzzles regularly and even walks the half mile to the child development center most of the five days a week she serves.

🌞🌊🌸 Summer may be unofficially over but we're still feeling the beach party vibes from our annual Luau Party at The Retreat! 🌴🍍🌺
Guests & staff cooled off with a sq**rt battle, enjoyed games and tropical treats, and danced the day away to a sun-soaked playlist. The Retreat team poured LOTS of love and effort into this special day. Office team members were delighted to don our Hawaiian shirts, leave our desks, and join the party!

Our senior dining sites promote healthy aging with a balanced meal, physical fitness classes, and activities, but maybe most importantly, by providing a place to gather for 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, & 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.
Betty has found meaningful community at the recently-opened St. Luke United Methodist Church dining site. She embraced site manager Julia before heading out after some bingo, lunch, and lots of laughs.
