It is a tremendous honor to receive this Veterans Grant from Feeding the Gulf Coast.

This program is dedicated to our veterans, our active-duty service members, and their families—the brave women and men who have sacrificed for our country. They are the ones who stood both behind and in front of our flag, ensuring our safety on their watch.

The recruiting office doors were open to everyone, but they were the ones who chose to walk through and sign on the dotted line. It is a true privilege to serve those who served us, and to fight for those who fought for us.

Be the Miracle is incredibly grateful to team up with our partners who made this possible:
• State Representative Michelle Salzman
• Walmart
• Jubilee Church
• Olive Baptist
• Jen Harrison
To clarify how this came together: Feeding the Gulf Coast had a vital Veterans Grant available to feed our military community, and they needed an organization to put it into action.

Be the Miracle stepped in immediately. Because we had to move quickly, we turned to State Representative Michelle Salzman, who stepped up and made it happen within a single week.
This is not about politics. This is strictly about providing food for our veterans.

We ask that you pray for our veterans, our active-duty members, and our military families. Please also pray for our organization—that we can secure more grants, expand this program, and make this the definitive beginning of the end for veteran hunger in our community. If you would like to partner with us in this mission, we would love to hear from you. Thank you."

Army Staff Sergeant Christopher Williams served our nation with profound courage and distinction.
Over his eight years of service as a Fire Support Specialist, he endured the brutal reality of war across three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, totaling 38 months on the front lines.

After being medically retired for severe physical injuries, a traumatic brain injury, and PTSD, his transition back to civilian life presented long, hard-fought challenges for both him and his family.Recognizing his immense sacrifices, the national nonprofit Building Homes for Heroes stepped forward alongside JPMorgan Chase to gift Staff Sgt. Williams a beautiful, custom-renovated, mortgage-free home in Crestview, Florida. However, as the time came to turn the keys, an urgent obstacle remained: getting this deserving hero and his family physically moved into their new foundation.

When the critical need for moving assistance was brought to the attention of Florida State Representative Michelle Salzman, she immediately answered the call. Refusing to let a hurdle stand in the way of a veteran's new beginning, Rep. Salzman partnered with Be the Miracle to step up and make it happen. Also we would not have been able to do this without the help of a few friends that helped us move.

Through this powerful partnership, the community rallied together, provided the vital moving assistance, and delivered the ultimate welcome home for this true American hero.

We cannot be the miracle without angels like you.
