At 8:39 AM, our daughter, Jayla Michelle, was declared deceased.

It is a reality we live with every single day.

The truth is, a part of us died that morning too. And while we continue to move forward, advocate, educate, and serve, grief is something we carry with us daily.

But we are not the only family living this unfortunate reality.

πŸ’œ Lachandra Moore lost two children to fentanyl overdoses just four months apart.

πŸ’œ Cheyenne Helm lost her 4-year-old daughter to a fentanyl poisoning.

πŸ’œ Frederica Roberson lost her son to a nitazene overdose.

And these are only a few of the countless families whose lives have been forever changed by this crisis.

Because every life mattered.
Because every story deserves to be heard.
Because every voice still echoes.

Jayla’s Voice; Echoes of Addiction, Inc. is honored to help carry these stories and represent families impacted by substance-related loss at the DEA Fentanyl-Free America Summit, held in conjunction with the CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute in Orlando, Florida.

We don’t travel to Orlando simply as advocates.

We travel as parents.
As families.
As survivors.

And most importantly, as echoes of the voices of those who can no longer speak for themselves.

Our pain is your prevention.
