ired by the impact we can make together. PYP is open to all “young-thinking” and “young-at-heart” professionals. Whether you are new to the area, starting your career, making a career change, working remotely, looking to grow your network, or simply wanting to become more connected to the Pensacola community, PYP is a place to connect, grow, and engage. Your membership connects you to new people, professional development opportunities, leadership experiences, and community involvement — all while supporting the mission of PYP. We also offer several discounted membership rates for undergraduate and graduate students, active and retired military and their spouses, first responders, nonprofit employees, UWF GOLD Alumni, and organizations interested in employee memberships. PYP is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers, members, sponsors, and community partners. Our programs, events, and initiatives would not be possible without their continued support and involvement. Our Priorities:
CONNECTION: We connect professionals with each other and community opportunities. DEVELOPMENT: We provide professional development opportunities to support and advance our local workforce. IMPACT: We create a positive impact on the community by improving quality of life. ⚾ What a night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for PYP's Night at the Ballpark as we celebrated 20 years of impact, connection, and community. It was wonderful to see current members, alumni, and friends of PYP come together at the Pensacola Blue Wahoos game to reconnect, make new memories, and celebrate this milestone year.

A special shoutout to our PYP President, Anna Lochas, for throwing out the ceremonial first pitch to kick off the evening! 🎉

We're also grateful to have such an incredible ballpark in our community. The Blue Wahoos Stadium At Maritime Park has become more than a place to watch baseball—it's a gathering place that has helped bring people together and played an important role in the growth and vibrancy of Pensacola.

We're honored to be featured as the June cover story in Pensacola Bella Magazine as part of our 20th Anniversary celebration! 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our May Coffee & Conversation at Bodacious Shops! ☕✨

It was a great morning filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and plenty of coffee. We loved seeing both familiar faces and new attendees come together to network, share ideas, and learn more about Pensacola Young Professionals and the opportunities to get involved in our community.

Events like Coffee & Conversation are a great reminder that sometimes the best connections start with a simple conversation over coffee. Whether you’re new to Pensacola, looking to grow your professional network, or just wanting to meet new people, we’re so glad you joined us!

A huge thank you to all of our PYP members who came out earlier this month to volunteer at Light Up Learning: A Carnival of Possibility! 🎡💡

We are so proud to have partnered in support of this incredible event benefiting the Studer Community Institute’s Building Brain Program, which helps children and families thrive through early learning and development.

From helping with setup to supporting carnival booths throughout the evening, our volunteers played an important role in making this fun and impactful community event a success. We are also especially proud that several of our PYP Board members served on the Light Up Learning planning committee, helping organize and bring this incredible event to life behind the scenes.

It was amazing to see our members giving back, connecting with the community, and supporting a cause that helps brighten the future for local families. 👏

As we celebrate 20 years of Pensacola Young Professionals, we're honored to launch our "20 Years of Impact" storytelling series with a reflection from someone who has been here from the very beginning.

John Hosman is one of PYP's founding members and he served as our first President from 2006-2007. Nearly two decades later, John continues to support PYP as a sponsor and advocate for our mission! 🙌

In his story, John reflects on the vision that inspired PYP's creation, the early days of building the organization, and the impact PYP has had on countless professionals and our community over the past 20 years.

What a fantastic evening of connection and community at our PYP + UWF Alumni Joint Happy Hour! 🎉

A huge thank you to the UWF Alumni for partnering with us on this special event and helping bring together professionals, alumni, and community members from across Pensacola. We loved seeing so many new and familiar faces networking, building relationships, and enjoying a great evening at The Handlebar.
