During these self-paced, structured meetings, we practice prepared speeches as well as impromptu speaking. Build your self-confidence and find your voice!

Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Our organization has more than 345,000 memberships. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 15,900 clubs in 142 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations. The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback—and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership.

🦸‍♀️ What makes a superhero? 🦸‍♂️

It’s not the cape. It’s not the flying. It’s the moment they choose courage over comfort.
Here’s the Toastmasters' secret: Confidence, clear communication, listening and leadership grow one speech, one role and one meeting at a time. And just like every great hero, nobody does it alone. We have a team cheering us on. 🙌

Your voice is your superpower. Come discover yours! ⚡

🎤 What a night at West Pines Toastmasters! 🎤
Our Hybrid Open House on Wednesday, September 9th brought our theme "Finding Your Voice" to life in the best way possible!
✨ We were honored to welcome our Area and Division Directors, along with wonderful guests who joined to see what Toastmasters is all about.
🗣️ Two fantastic speeches lit up the room — a Presentation Mastery Level 2 Mentoring speech and a brave Icebreaker speech for Presentation Mastery Level 1. Both speakers showed real growth and courage, and the energy in the room was contagious!
🎖️ A special highlight of the evening: our Area Director presented pins to recognize member achievements — a proud moment for our club!
Huge thanks to our functionaries, evaluators, and everyone who came out to support our members. This is what community, growth, and courage look like. 💪
Interested in developing your communication and leadership skills in a supportive environment? Come visit us — we meet every Wednesday, 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM!
📢 This week's meeting on the 16th of September is online only — join us on Zoom!
