Our 3rd Annual Fall Festival was again a SUCCESS!! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves!! We’d very much like to thank fellow neighbor Ed Hill for volunteering his personal time to putting this event together. His devotion and dedication to making this event happen again is very much appreciated. Please make sure to thank him if you run into him.

Free Hurricane Preparedness Workshop

We have partnered with Miramar Fire Rescue to have a free Hurricane Prep. workshop for our Silver Shores residents 7:30pm on 7/17 @ the Silver Shores Clubhouse. Please rsvp to ensure we have enough seating.

Dear Residents:

Due to the Associations adjacent wetland, venomous snakes have been sighted within the community. Please be careful as regards snakes when exiting your home and with all outdoor activities, particularly those activities which may bring you in contact with snakes such as gardening. The Miami Dade Fire Rescue Venom Response Program may be called for snake sightings, as the program responds to incidents in Miami Dade,Broward and Palm Beach Counties.Their telephone is 786 331 4443. Residents,

Our gate access control system has been down since Hurricane Irma. We have been waiting on multiple companies to come out and give us quotations and see who can repair it. We are on a waiting list and are hoping to have someone come out next week.

At this time, security will still not be able to call residents for visitor access. The office does not have access to update telephone numbers and guest lists as well as Decals and Clubhouse IDs will not be able to be sold at this time.

Once the system has been repaired, the guards will be able to resume their regular screening and the office can resume their office functions.

The basketball court still has repairs to be made and cannot be used at this time.

We ask that you be patient at this time. The association has a lot of work to do. We are moving as quickly as possible but Hurricane Irma has caused a lot of damage throughout our community. Our vendors are working really hard to get the community back in order.

**** I-75 Express Traffic Update ****

I-75 Northbound Traffic Shift Scheduled for Monday, July 24

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to shift the northbound lanes of I-75 between Miami Gardens Drive and north of Snake Creek Canal to its permanent configuration. These lanes were previously shifted to the median to allow crews to perform construction activities for the new direct connect bridges being built between the future 75 Express lanes and Florida's Turnpike and the permanent lanes of I-75 northbound.

Beginning Monday night, July 24, all northbound lanes of I-75 between Miami Gardens Drive and north of Snake Creek Canal will be shifted from the median to its permanent configuration.

Please find bellow the updated class times for the swim lessons this week. Each slot has been an extended ten minutes to make up for the two weather related cancellations.

6-36 Months: 9am-9:40am
3-5 Yrs Old: 9:45am- 10:25am
6-11 Yrs Old: 10:30am-11:10am

Pls make sure to arrive 5-10 mins prior to class times.

Swim Lessons will resume on Monday. To make up for the rain cancellations, classes will be extended past the usual 30 mins. Looking forward to better weather next week.

After moving the class times up in hope of better weather, the YMCA has just announced classes for today will not take place. We will announce the makeup times and dates later this afternoon. Classes will likely be extended to make up for two days of weather related cancellations. Stay tuned...
