At the District 77 Toastmasters Spring Conference, Heather Carlton, Business Development Director of Kids to Love, was presented with a $2,000 donation from District 77. Through the KTECH program, students receive hands-on, interactive, one-on-one instruction that helps connect them with future careers. District 77 Toastmasters were honored to work with KTECH students by sharing the importance of public speaking and helping them prepare their graduation speeches, empowering them with confidence and communication skills for the future.

The Vocalizers Toastmasters Club is proud to celebrate two members who advanced as finalists in the District 77 Humorous Speech Contest Finals held this past weekend in Madison, Alabama. Pictured below are Beth Tucker (second from left) and Jarvis Davis (second from right). Congratulations to Beth Tucker, who earned first place in the competition! We applaud both of our talented speakers for representing Vocalizers so well.

Vocalizers Toastmasters proudly hosted the Area 23 Humorous Speech Contest on March 19 at Life Changing Christian Center in Pelham, AL. Congratulations to our winners, Beth Tucker and Jarvis Davis, who will advance to the Division B Contest on Saturday, April 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at UAB Bevill Hall.
