DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI NOTIFICATION

As alumni of Pekin Community High School you are receiving this email as a part of a desire on the school's part to better recognize Distinguished Alumni of our school and our community.

Pekin Community High School is very proud of its past and would like the chance to celebrate those who have come before and recognize the great alumni who have gone on to make significant contributions to the world after their time spent at PCHS. We believe these people serve as role models to inspire current and future generations of students.

We recognized our first class of Distinguished Alumni in the fall of 2019 and have since recognized a class of Distinguished Alumni each year at either our Homecoming or Pekin Marigold festivities. This year's recipients were honored at this year's Homecoming festivities on October 10th.

In this spirit, we are reaching out to you hoping that some of you would have the desire to nominate a fellow classmate or PCHS alum who you know who has gone on to do wonderful/ extraordinary things.

Anyone nominated must meet the following criteria:

• Graduated from PCHS or attended for at least 2 years.
• Is at least 30 years of age at the time of nomination.
• Is not a current employee or Board Member of PCHS.
• Demonstrates a high level of achievement in his/her
field and makes significant contributions to that field.

We hope to recognize our Distinguished Alumni at one of our home football games in the early fall. We are excited to continue celebrating our past graduates as a critical part of continuing to grow the Pekin pride for Pekin Community High School and our community.

PCHS Class of ’78, the wait is over—our 65th Birthday Pub/Restaurant Crawl starts at 5 PM at Rhythm & Brews, 513 Court St. 🎉

Grab a drink, slap on that name tag, and let’s make our way down Court Street—Rhythm & Brews, Whiskey Taco, Yesterday’s, Maquet’s Rail House, food trucks galore, and Revel in Red cranking up the soundtrack of our night.

👕 Wear red so we can spot each other in the crowd.
🍔 Bring your appetite (and maybe your Advil for tomorrow 😅).
🎶 Stay late—let’s prove we’ve still got it!

PCHS Class of ’78—our 65th Birthday Pub/Restaurant Crawl is TOMORROW night, Saturday, August 23 at 5 PM! 🍻

We’ll kick things off at **Rhythm & Brews (513 Court St.)**, then stroll Court Street together with stops at Whiskey Taco, Yesterday’s, Maquet’s Rail House, and who knows where else. Food trucks will keep us fueled, and **Revel in Red** will bring the music downtown on Court Street! 🎶

👕 Wear red so we can spot each other in the crowd!
📸 Call and/or tag your classmates and make sure no one misses out.
💃 Come ready for laughs, memories, and maybe a little dancing!
