Promise686 Why? Because children need families.

Our hope is to see every child in a safe, loving family, forever, and we carry out this mission by equipping churches to support local foster & adoptive families and biological families in crisis.

A few weeks ago, fifth-grader Charlotte Gordon raised an incredible $15,000 for family support grants for Promise686!

Charlotte won the funding through her school’s built-in foundation, where students pitch nonprofits to earn them real-world grants. Thanks to her hard work and passion, more families will receive the vital support they need.

Way to go, Charlotte—showing us all that you’re never too young to make a massive impact! 💚✨

As we wrap up National Foster Care Awareness Month, we want to challenge you to move from awareness to action. 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us that we have all been given unique gifts to serve others as faithful stewards of grace.

When we choose to show up for foster families and children in crisis, we are putting that grace into motion. Whether that looks like giving your time, your prayers, or your resources, your unique role matters. Let's finish this month strong by stepping into the specific work God has prepared for each of us.

Freedom always comes at a cost. Today, we honor the heroes who laid down their lives for our nation.

Their immense sacrifice is a powerful, earthly reflection of the ultimate sacrifice made on the cross—the ultimate expression of love.

Let's honor their memory today by living out that same selfless love. Together, we can stand in the gap by surrounding vulnerable children with safe, loving families.

Supporting biological families has a redemptive mission at its core.

We’re going “upstream” to offer wrap-around support before a crisis leads to separation. We know that when protective capacity goes up, the need for intervention goes down.

Following the heart of Matthew 25:40, we believe that vulnerable families need more than a helping hand—they need a community. A Care Community is a wrap-around support model that does just that, provides families with community.

Meet TesLa. Her story includes a season of overwhelming brokenness. When her children entered foster care, the goal wasn’t just to find them a temporary home—it was to pave the way for her family to be made whole again.

Through the support of a Care Community, TesLa didn’t have to walk the path of healing alone. When we wrap around vulnerable families with dignity and honor, we have the opportunity to witness the beauty of families being restored.

ACTION STEPS: 1. Join us in praying today for the parents working toward reunification. 2. Click the link in our bio to watch the rest of TesLa’s video
