BlueSky Global Ministries is a U.S.-based non-profit that has provided adventure programs in Nairobi, Kenya since 2001.

BlueSky exists to build relationships through adventure to engage and serve the multinational community in Nairobi and East Africa.

We were so excited to have our BIG 25th birthday celebration in Kenya last weekend! It was an evening of fellowship, reminiscing, and thanksgiving!

Thanks for everyone from years past who came to celebrate all the Lord has done through BlueSky and what He has for us in the next 25 years ahead! More photos to come!

Session 1= Complete! ✅

But we can’t get over it! We had 113 kids join us for the week. We know that at least 5 campers came to know the Lord as their Savior, many had seeds planted for the first time, and others took another step in the discipleship process! We are praising Jesus for how He connects with the children and youth of today!

Session 1 set the bar high and we can’t wait to see what else the Lord has in store for us during the July sessions!

It is officially camp season! 🎉

Camp is such an amazing opportunity for BlueSky and staff to get to not only evangelize but also disciple hundreds of students each year! We have the blessing of getting to see many of our campers year around through our Trek and Base Camp ministries, however, we also get to meet new students from all over the world as well! Camp is the pinnacle of the year for our student ministry!

Camp creates an environment unlike any other! Our counselors get to spend all day with our campers; eating meals together, playing games, all while having intentional time to have conversations about God and what they are learning.

Sunday wrapped up Staff Training and kicked off Session 1! Please be in prayer for all our staff and campers as we minister to and serve our campers!

✨ BASE CAMP + TREK ✨

At BlueSky, one of our platforms of ministry is Family Life. Family Life serves students, young adults, and adults in the Nairobi area. Two particular ways we serve our students are Base Camp and Trek!
We love creating spaces for students to gather, grow, and encounter Jesus together 💙🌍

Base Camp is an all-out half-day event where students from across Nairobi come together for games, competition, food, worship, and community. With only THREE Base Camps each year, it’s a special ministry-wide event our students don’t want to miss ⛺️🙌

Trek is a more regular opportunity for students in Nairobi to connect every other Friday night. Whether in Karen or Gigiri, students come together to fellowship, play games, eat pizza, and grow closer to Jesus!

Different spaces, same heart👉 building community and pointing students toward Christ!

For the last month, we have launched a BlueSky Bible Study open to all our staff and community!

Once a week, our team will engage in content together and then have small group discussions around what they are learning.

Through our partnership with , we use content from to help facilitate this time. Currently, we are working through David Platt’s Faith Foundations series.

Our Global team also gathers as a team each week, as we are working through the same material!

It already has been so encouraging to our team to pause and take time to invest in growing together!

Please be praying this time is fruitful for all individuals participating and that it will influence our culture as an organization so that we reflect Christ more and more in such a way that it is undeniable for our audiences!

West Nairobi School invited BlueSky Family Life to lead during their Spiritual Emphasis Week! Previous Camp Counselors (shoutout !!!) came out to volunteer with BlueSky Family Life and Camp to help run the program. We are so thankful for the opportunity to share our faith and of course a lil fun😉 with WNS’s student body!

West Nairobi School is a K4 – 12th grade school in Karen. They have 390+ students from 25+ countries. Many of their students join us for in the summer!

Meet Wycliffe Mutuku 👋

Wycliffe serves as one of our Climb Instructors, helping create spaces for growth, challenge, and adventure for our clients.

One of the things Wycliffe appreciates most about BlueSky is the confidence our leadership gives him to operate within his strengths — and that trust is what motivates him in his work 💙

He’s always ready to help others, brings a servant-hearted presence to the team, and cares deeply for the people around him.

Outside of BlueSky, Wycliffe is a big Manchester United fan, loves football (soccer), swimming, and cooking!

Favorite food: Ugali and sukuma

JamRock 2026 was a success!!

Each year, we host a climbing competition and yet again, we had an awesome turn out (swipe to the end for a group pic)! We are so thankful for our staff team for how they prepared, set new routes, and welcomed our community in for some friendly competition! JamRock is such a great way to get our loyal climbers into the gym together to compete and also cheer each other on! We already can’t wait for next year!
