💙 Why Soroptimist? Meet Pat Box, 2026-2028 GWR Governor.

“One week after taking an early retirement to care for my husband, I received an invitation from a friend to attend a Soroptimist meeting. She sensed that Soroptimist might help fill a void in my life as I stepped away from a career I truly loved.

Following that first meeting, it felt as though all the stars had aligned. I found a welcoming community, a mission I deeply believed in, and a way to continue living a purpose-driven life while honoring my commitment to my husband. My decision to join Soroptimist was easy, but what touched me most was that Soroptimist embraced not only me, but my husband, too.

Through Soroptimist International of Moreno Valley, we both found friendship, connection, and a renewed sense of belonging during a time of significant change in our lives.

I stay for the lifelong friendships I’ve built with Soroptimists across our region and around the world; for the opportunity to use my skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and girls; and for the leadership opportunities that continue to challenge, inspire, and enrich my life.

🍵✨ **Districts 3 & 4—let’s get “Steeped in Strength” together!** ✨🍵

Registration is now open for the **2026 District 3 & 4 Fall Meeting**, happening **September 18–19 at the beautiful London Bridge Resort in Lake Havasu City!**

This special weekend is designed to help us grow together, lead together and serve together while strengthening the friendships that make Soroptimist so meaningful.

Members can look forward to inspiring speakers, meaningful learning, networking and fellowship—plus an optional Friday w**e tasting and a Saturday vintage tea party and hat contest!

We warmly invite every District 3 and 4 club to send a strong group of members. Bring longtime Soroptimists, newer members and future club leaders. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and return home energized for the year ahead.
