Great job, Cub Scouts Pack 34 - Pawling, NY!!

Good morning, Pawling!

This past weekend Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 34 and Boy Scout Troop 34 were hard at work at the Resource Center dropping off food they collected from their annual Scouting for Food Drive!

Over the course of the day, the Scouts unloaded, sorted, and shelved 2,102 pounds of pantry goods for the Resource Center's pantry, including canned foods, dry foods, personal grooming items, household supplies, paper goods, and baby supplies!

We can't thank the Scouts enough for doing this every year. In fact, the Scouting for Food Drive has been happening for at least 20 years! Our Program Coordinator, Brandon, participated in this very same food drive as a teenager when he himself was the Troop Guide for Troop 34.

The powerful ceremony was hosted by the American Legion, Pawling Hasler-Kamp Post #215, which charters Cub Scouts Pack 34 - Pawling, NY.

One week ago today, we were getting ready to welcome our Pawling and Dover community for a delicious spaghetti dinner benefiting the Pawling Scout Cabin. As you can see, so many families, friends, neighbors, business owners, and (of course) scouts came to support us.

Thank you to everyone who attended and donated to our cause. Your generosity and community spirit mean so much to us. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

🥫 SCOUTING FOR FOOD is Back! 🥫

It’s that time of year again! BSA Troop 34 is hosting its annual Food Drive to support the Pawling Resource Center, helping local families and individuals right here in our community.

Here is how you can help make a difference:

📦 Step 1: Bag Drop-Off
Keep an eye out! Empty paper bags will be dropped off at homes during the weekend of May 23rd.

🚚 Step 2: Bag Pick-Up
Fill your bag with non-perishable food items and leave it out for collection. Scouts will be making the rounds to pick up all donations on Saturday, May 30th starting at 9:00 AM.

🛑 Didn't receive a bag but still want to donate?
No problem at all! You can still participate. Just call or text 917-595-0622 to arrange a collection.

Let's come together and help Troop 34 fill the pantry for neighbors in need! ⚜️❤️
