Civic engagement starts with education and access!

We recently welcomed teens and families from our community for a voter education workshop and dinner in partnership with plus one for america One America.

Together, we explored voter registration, how to find polling locations, and the resources available to help community members navigate the voting process.

Thank you to plus one for america for helping us create a welcoming space for our community to ask questions, learn, and feel informed and empowered!

A weekend of learning, connection, and new experiences for our teens!

Recently, our Camino al Éxito teens joined ADELANTE for Power Weekend 2026, a theee-day gathering that brought together young people from across the Hudson Valley.

Through storytelling, creative activities, and conversations about advocacy and community organizing, our teens connected with peers from different backgrounds, built new friendships, and explored how they can use their voices to create change.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these that help our youth grow as individuals and leaders. Thank you, ADELANTE, for welcoming our teens! 💜

We’re so excited to see our new home come to life!

This fall, we launched “What’s Underneath: Finding Your Voice Through Journaling”, a six-week series helping our teens explore their thoughts, emotions, and creativity through writing.

In a recent session, our youth personalized their own pens and journals while exploring the difference between what others see on the outside and who we truly are underneath.

Sometimes, putting our thoughts on paper is the first step toward understanding ourselves and finding our voice.

Thank you to Meghan Daniels for leading this meaningful journaling session and Magnificent Event Creations LLC for the beautiful pens! 💜

🌟 Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight: Caminoalexitopfa

Based in Pawling, Camino al Éxito Project for All creates brighter futures for underrepresented youth and families across Dutchess County through after-school programming, mentorship, leadership development, family support, and culturally responsive food access.

This summer, Camino celebrated both its five-year anniversary and the grand opening of a new Community Health Center in Pawling, created in partnership with Mental Health America of Dutchess County, NY. The new space will provide health and wellness resources while giving youth, families, and community members a place to learn, connect, and grow together.

Camino’s work is rooted in trust, lived experience, and cultural connection—helping young people build confidence and opportunity while strengthening the families and communities that support them.

🎉 And don't forget their Hispanic Heritage Celebration in the Village of Pawling, featuring music, dance, food, art, and family-friendly activities.
