Some people leave a mark on the motorcycle community that doesn’t fade when they’re gone. Hillbilly was one of those people.
On October 17th, the community will be coming together for a Celebration of Life for Hillbilly—President of Independent Family, a pillar of our motorcycle community, and one of the first people to step up whenever somebody needed a hand.
Hillbilly lived the life, loved the ride, and showed up for his people. While we wish more than anything that he was still here riding beside us, there’s something fitting in knowing that when his time came, he went out doing what he loved.
Then on October 18th, we come together again for a fundraiser breakfast for his Ol' Lady, Peawee. Hillbilly spent years being there when others needed him. Now it’s our turn to show up for his family.
Whether you knew Hillbilly for years, rode beside him, crossed paths with him, or simply know what he meant to this community, come out and show your support.

Ride hard. Love your people. Show up when it matters.
Ride In Peace, Hillbilly.
