Second harvest Food bank is at the Decatur County fairgrounds handing out boxes of food TODAY.

You don’t need a voucher it is first come first served.

The Decatur County Backpack Program is now accepting New or Like New Stuffed Animal donations to pass out to children that participate in our Backpack Program.

We have roughly around 200+ in our program and would love to give them a special stuffie to celebrate Easter.

I’m still working on my 25 days of Christmas appreciation posts but I wanted to share all the amazing donations we’ve received and momey that was donated to purchase a lot of these items as well for Christmas food pick up! We were even able to give some chicken to our wonderful staff members!

Thank you sooooo much, I’m blessed with the best backpack program families who are all truly grateful for any and all donations! Thank you for helping me put so many smiles on these families faces today!

This doesn’t even show the amount of donations we also received for our backpack weekly kids, this is just monthly!

Decatur county is simply amazing!!

Thank you so much to Calvary Baptist Church for their large food donation! Our program have grown to nearly 90 weekend bags every single week that we make ourselves and purchasing that much food every week gets very difficult and the amount of food they donated helped us tremendously!
