When I retired in 2008, I had no idea what road I would travel, but knew I wanted to stay busy & meet people. My 12 year run with the Decatur County Tai Chi Class has been the most rewarding time of my life! Shoulder surgery in February of 2020 was suppose to cause a pause only in my busy schedule. But, we all know what happened when the Covid pandemic hit & hit hard. My shoulder recovery has taken longer than expected, so I decided not to start class back up in the fall of 2020 for both those reasons.
All this time, as you know, I am not getting any younger.….. Time flies & here we are at the beginning of a new year! I would love to say our class will start again in March. At this time, I feel is is best to cancel my Tai Chi Class indefinitely. One thing has led to another & I doubt I would be able to commit to the time it takes & not miss any classes.
I just want to take this time to tell all of the members that I love each of you & wish you the very best. Please stay in touch & know you will always be my friend. Feel free to call, text, Facebook me.
I understand the Civic Center is planning to start renovations, too. Happy New Year to all! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
Again, if anyone wants my equipment & keep the classes going, I would love that, too. I would make every class that I could. I miss my friends!

After seeing the post about beauty shops, gyms & much careful thought........I have decided not to start Tai Chi classes back up at this time. I will take another look at the numbers in the fall. I am very anxious to be with all of you, but we are not in the group of essential services & schools are even closed. Especially since most or all of our class are seniors, we should be more careful. Tai Chi can be practiced at home, so continue on with that & I will keep each of you in prayer. Be safe!!!!!! 👍👍🥰🥰
