The Parsons Grade Schools PTO page is set up to keep all families connected with the ongoing PTO activities of Lincoln, Garfield, and Guthridge schools. Since we know not everyone can always make it to the meetings, the page will also be used as a forum for people to offer ideas, comments, or ask questions. Thank you to all Parsons Grade Schools students, families, friends, teachers, and administrators for making our schools so great!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of our AMAZING teachers!

PTO was able to gift all teachers at Lincoln, Garfield, and Guthridge with a tea from BetterLife Nutrition (huge thanks to owner Briget!) and a $25 Amazon gift card.

PTO took 56 students on a field trip to Kauffman Stadium as a reward for selling 15+ items in our fall Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser. We toured the luxury suites, press room, dugout, locker rooms, and more! The kids (and parent/ teacher volunteers) had an absolute blast!

A special thank you goes out to these families that went above and beyond on this fundraiser. We appreciate all of your support!

FIELD TRIP!

As a reminder, tomorrow is the Kauffman Stadium field trip for those students who fundraised 15+ items. Please make sure your student arrives to school by 8am with a packed lunch if the school is not providing a sack lunch. Buses will arrive at Guthridge shortly after 4pm and ALL students will be picked up there. If you have any questions, please email Julie Legler at [email protected].

Ms. Pollard’s class at Garfield earned themselves a pizza party for selling the most trashbags in the building. Thank you to everyone who showed their support and purchased some! 🍕
