No Marine should face Family Day alone, and through connection, compassion, and community, we make sure every new Marine knows they’ll always have a family, both in and out of uniform.

Bravo Company got a stock-up of drinks and snacks for Pick Up Day last week!

We’ve quickly learned that stocking the fridges looks a little different with each company, so we’re adjusting along the way and figuring out how we can best support each one and their needs.

We wish Bravo Company and their newest recruits the very best as they begin the next 13 weeks of training. We’ll see them on Family Day!

A big thank you to new Marine mom, Jacky, who stopped by on Family Day with donations to help us support Kilo Company! 💙

We have so many wonderful Marine families who stop by the tent each week with donations for Private Peppers, and we are incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Full disclosure: I’m the worst at remembering to take pictures in the craziness of Family Day! I’m making an effort to be better about it so we can make sure we recognize and thank the amazing people who help make what we do possible.

Congratulations to Kilo Company’s newest Marines! 🇺🇸

With just shy of 600 new Marines, Kilo Company was our the biggest company of the year so far! We welcomed them at the tent immediately following the ceremony and then invited them to join us for lunch, where we offer a place to eat, relax, charge their phones, and spend some time with our volunteers.

One of our favorite parts of Family Day is simply getting to sit and talk with the Marines. We love hearing their stories from the last 13 weeks, learning about their plans for their Marine Corps careers, and hearing what they’re most looking forward to when they finally get home.

As always, another successful Family Day was made possible by every person who shows up, donates, volunteers, and supports our mission. We couldn’t continue being there for these Marines without you. 💙

India Company is stocked and ready to go!

We stopped by early Saturday morning to drop off drinks and snacks for Pick Up Day, adding to what the DI spouses/families had already stocked for the company.

Wishing India Company’s newest recruits and staff a safe and successful training cycle. We’ll see them again in 13 weeks! 💙

This Thursday, we welcomed Fox Company’s newest Marines! 💛

As soon as they were released from the Family Day ceremony, our volunteers were there with snacks, drinks, and phones to use. We also hosted a luncheon with subs, chips, fruit, and some delicious homemade sourdough cookies!

We love giving the Marines a place to relax, charge their phones, make calls home, and get some pictures to remember their special day.

We were also excited to have some new volunteers join us this week, along with some familiar faces from MCAS Beaufort!

Echo Company is stocked up and ready for Pickup Day!

It has been such a great experience being able to support our Drill Instructors and remind them just how much their hard work and dedication are appreciated.

As Echo Company prepares to pick up their newest recruits, their fridges are stocked and ready.

🎉 Congratulations to India Company’s newest Marines!

We were so excited to celebrate them this week with a delicious luncheon from Griddle & Grits! The Marines enjoyed pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, and gravy and it was definitely a hit! 🥞🥓🍳

Earlier this week, we had the chance to visit Griddles & Grits ourselves and absolutely loved it. While we were there, we learned that their business has been impacted by the extensive roadwork in the area, which has made getting to them a little more difficult. We immediately knew their food would be perfect for our Family Day luncheon.

We love being able to support the Marines while also supporting the local community that supports them.

If you’re in town celebrating your new Marine, consider stopping by Griddles & Grits on your way out for a delicious meal.

Our volunteers are doing some incredible things, and we couldn't be prouder to celebrate a few of them this week! 🌟

Congratulations to Evette! She officially passed her National EMT certification exam! We know how much hard work and dedication she put into this accomplishment, and we're so excited for her.

Congratulations to Brianna! She was promoted to Corporal this week! We love having her volunteer with us and are so proud of this well-deserved accomplishment.

And last but certainly not least... Happy Birthday to Ryan! We hope you have an amazing day! Thank you for everything you do for Private Peppers and for always showing up to support our Marines.

We are so grateful for each of our volunteers and so proud to celebrate alongside them! We love our Private Peppers family!!!

Good luck, November Company! 💙

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we were able to stock the drill instructors' refrigerator as they pick up their newest recruits today.

Over the next 13 weeks, these dedicated DIs will invest countless hours mentoring, challenging, and shaping these young men and women into United States Marines. We are so grateful for everything they do to make that transformation possible.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this happen. Your support is a meaningful reminder that their hard work does not go unnoticed.
