🦿❤️ Our “Ask a Nurse” Mixer on Tuesday, June 9th was a wonderful success!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of education, fellowship, and community.

Congratulations to our very own Steve Lamp, who proudly showed off his new prosthetic leg and received a special “Gold Medal” for completing his epic hiking adventure in Peru! 🏅🌎⛰️ What an inspiring reminder that limb loss does not mean the end of adventure.

We are also incredibly grateful to Nurse Practitioner Lenee and Nurse Angela, who shared valuable insight, answered questions, and provided practical guidance about life after amputation. Their knowledge and compassion made for a meaningful evening.

💙 BIG DAY AT THE AMPUTEE CENTER! 💙

As we continue to grow and adapt, so does our programming!

When we first launched our 4:00 PM Adaptive Fitness class, it was reserved for amputees only to provide a safe and welcoming space for movement, fitness, and support. Today, thanks to the success of our expanding Physical Therapy Clinics on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, that need is being met in a whole new way.

✨ NEW UPDATE ✨

Our 4:00 PM time slot is now open to ANYONE who could benefit from adaptive fitness, athletic training, rehabilitation support, or a welcoming gym environment.

For just $10, you'll receive access to:
✅ Adaptive fitness training
✅ Open gym opportunities
✅ Guidance from James and our team
✅ Supportive community atmosphere
✅ Adaptive equipment and modifications when needed

Even better, your $10 helps us continue providing FREE programming for amputees, which remains at the heart of our mission.

⭐ James Harward brings a wealth of experience in physical therapy, adaptive fitness, rehabilitation, strength training, and helping people regain confidence in movement. His ability to meet people where they are and help them progress safely makes him a tremendous asset to our community.

⭐ Shannon creates a welcoming, judgment-free environment where everyone can experience the benefits of yoga. Her adaptive approach allows participants of all abilities to improve flexibility, balance, strength, breathing, and overall well-being while feeling supported every step of the way.

Whether you're an amputee, a caregiver, recovering from an injury, using a wheelchair, walker, cane, prosthetic, or simply looking for a supportive place to move your body, there's a place for you here.
