From September 1 through October 4, Christians around the world come together to pray, reflect and respond to the call to care for our common home. This year, we invite you to walk with the Passionists as we explore the theme “Living Water.”

Our Season of Creation page is already filled with reflections, resources and ways to participate—and there is much more to come! Throughout the season, we’ll be sharing new content and opportunities to pray, learn and take action together.

I received a letter in the mail yesterday telling me of a danger which threatens to destroy the whole Congregation. Today, we celebrate the Feast of Blessed Dominic Barberi, CP, a Passionist whose life was marked by perseverance, trust and a deep willingness to follow God’s call.

Dominic’s remarkable journey of faith—and the many years he spent preparing and waiting for the mission God had placed on his heart—reminds us that “waiting is not necessarily wasted time.”

On Blessed Dominic’s Feast, may his example encourage us to trust God’s timing and remain faithful to wherever God may be calling us.

Blessed Dominic Barberi, pray for us! 🙏
