The teacher of prayer is the Holy Spirit, and we must pray in a manner pleasing to him. When you feel drawn to remain in God in a holy silence of love, then stay that way. When you feel the impulse to speak to God or tell him how love him, then do that. If you feel drawn to make petitions for your own needs or those of others, do that. As our 2026 Provincial Assembly begins today in Houston, TX, at Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Together, the Passionists of Holy Cross Province gather to listen to the Spirit, renew our commitment to the Passion of Jesus Christ, and discern how we are being called to serve with compassion, solidarity, and hope.

Please keep all participants in your prayers as we journey under the theme “Following Jesus Crucified: Our Journey to Transformation.”
