The Chicago Society Foundation will be funding up to six scholarships, consisting of one $10,000 scholarship and five scholarships of $5,000 each, to qualified undergraduate or graduate students pursuing full-time studies at an accredited college or university in the United States. HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. Scholarships will be awarded in August 2026 for the forthcoming academic year September 2026 - May 2027. Selection of Kulze Scholarship winners will be made on a competitive basis by the Foundation.

An additional scholarship for law school students, funded by Chartwell Law, may be awarded to individuals that did not receive the Kulze Scholarship.

Deadline for application and supporting materials: May 8, 2026 (this deadline will be strictly observed, except that Spring semester 2026 official transcript is to be submitted promptly when available).

Notification of results will be made in writing on or about mid-July 2026. The awards ceremony will be held early August.

Chicago, IL. -- The Chicago Society PNA Lodge 1450 held their annual Deserving Children's Christmas Party at the Polish National Alliance building on Saturday December 13th, 2025. 62 children were invited and came from various organizations that included the Polish American Association, Dom Samo Matki and Wiara i Swiatlo from Holy Trinity Polish Mission Church, and a group from Jasmin.
Children were treated to a lunch from Culvers, an animal show that featured snakes, spiders, reptiles, a mini dragon lizard, and a huge frog from Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles, caroling, honorary deputy badges from officers from the Polish American Police Association and presents from the one and only Santa Claus. The Chicago Society group has taken the lead of this amazing party for children who are less fortunate and are of special needs for at least the last 65 years. All left with fond memories seeing Santa and holding and touching these exotic reptiles. And some parents too were happy to come.

Hubert Cioromski was elected President of the Polish American Congress during the meeting held on October 16–17. The previous long-serving president, Frank Spula, did not seek re-election.
