It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that the Legendary Coach Mike Ditka has passed away today. Here at Gridiron Greats, we lived by his words to "Do the Right Thing" and provide the necessary assistance to former players in need. Coach, you will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Diana and his family, and to all those you knew him. Rest in Peace, Coach!

Mike Ditka, a Hall of Fame tight end who became an NFL legend for his time as coach of the Bears, has died at the age of 86.
