The Library is closed Monday-Thursday this week so that the lobby ceiling can be repaired.

During this time, there will be no public access to the building.

You can access our free WiFi throughout our parking lot and almost to the pickleball courts in Kindleberger Park.

You can place reserves for books, movies, puzzles, games, or Library of Things items through our catalog or by calling (269) 343-7747 during normal Library hours. Staff will be in the building to answer the phone and the online chat!

To pick up reserves, please pull into the parking lot at the back of the Library. Please be aware this is a small space, and watch out for Library staff and other patrons! Call (269) 343-7747 ext. 1 and a staff member will bring your items out for you!

Nothing will be due during the Library’s closure. You can return books, movies, and audio books to the front drop box if needed, but please hold on to puzzles, games, and Library of Things items until we reopen. We do not charge overdue fees!

We had a spooky great time hanging out last night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Hallo(t)ween party!

There was a lot of running, a lot of laughing, and a few ghostly tricks up skeletal sleeves. We had a great time, and we hope you did too!

Norse Code begins our 2026-27 2nd Sundays Live season this Sunday, October 11, at 2:00 pm!

This hour-long free concert features traditional Scandinavian music with bowed string instruments of Sweden and Norway. The music is amazing, but the instruments are even more beautiful!

This program is suitable for adults, teens, and families of all ages. Doors are open 1:30-2:15 p.m.

What a great morning! Thank you to the Kalamazoo Township Fire Department for coming to visit, bringing some really cool gear (including a thermal detector!), a fire truck, and of course themselves!

It was so cool to see all of the tools firefighters use to keep us safe, and all the gear they use to keep themselves safe.

The firefighters wanted the kids to all remember that even though they look a little weird in their helmets and masks and coats, it’s only to keep them safe so they can help. If there’s a fire and you see a firefighter, don’t hide under a bed or in a closet - go to the firefighter so they can help you get out fast!

(And they might even show you how they do Mrs. B’s Wiggle Dance in their gear!)
