Our Annual Pink Out Game for everyone is October 15th. Forms for pink shirts will be given out today. These are optional to purchase. These are the bright pink ones we do every year and tradition. They say Parchment football so anyone can order.
We make a donation to American Cancer Society from the proceeds every year.

Our Annual Food Drive will also be October 15th since everyone is home. This is also an annual event we do every year to collect food for Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes..

This week in Rocket

Pictures are Thursday at Kindleberger park.

Saturday 7/8th Rocket, Middle School Cheer, and flag are all home. Other teams are away. 3/4th Rocket has concession.

Saturday night September 24th is Rocket Appreciation. Game is at 7pm and we will build a tunnel for the Varsity team to run through. Teams will be announced at half time. Cheer will be cheering the 1st quarter with the high school. All players should arrive around 6pm. Parents who will be attending the game will need to pay admission. Tickets are available online and they will have a card reader at the gate this week. After half time, players will be released to parents.

Homecoming is next week Friday, September 30th. Rocket will be in the parade. Parade starts at 5pm. All divisions are in the parade. Trucks should arrive at 4pm by the library. Players should arrive no later than 4:30pm. The parade ends at high school and that’s where athletes should be picked up. We encourage families to attend the game. Admission to homecoming will apply.

This week in Rocket (Week 2)

Everyone is home this week. Games start at 9am on Saturday for both Flag and Rocket.

7/8th plays at 9am
5/6th plays at 10:30am
3/4th plays at Noon

Flag games are at 9am, 10am, and 11am

Please check cheer page for cheer times but they are all home. Times are below

Spirit stores for both cheer and rocket are open.

I do have the Parchment Ps for helmets or car details if anyone is interested. They are $5 each.

7/8th will be going to Waldo this year along with Middle School Cheer. That game will be 10/22 and we do not have a time yet. For us to play at Waldo, we must sell tickets to a WMU game. The game we will be selling for this year will be WMU vs New Hampshire October 1st at 6pm. Tickets are $11. We ask all athletes participating on 10/22 to sell 2 tickets or donate $20. Forms will be available soon and we will have tickets to give you.

Rocket Appreciation has moved to Saturday, September 24th at 7pm. Teams should arrive at 6pm. These is an event for all divisions (rocket, flag, cheer). We had to move the event because the Varsity game has changed dates. We hope players/families can make it. We apologize for the change but its unavoidable since game was rescheduled. If weather is issue, there could be potential of starting at 5pm but for now, it is 7pm game time and 6pm arrival. Rocket appreciate, cheer will participate with the high school cheer leaders for the 1st quarter. All divisions will build a tunnel before the game for the Varsity to go through. At half time, we announce all the teams on the track. All players and coaches get in free to event. Parents/spectator will have to pay admission.

September 23rd was a varsity home game and Rocket Appreciation. That game has been moved. We are still working out details of Rocket Appreciation so more to come.

WE HAVE UNIFORM SAMPLES!!!

I will be rushing from work tonight to get them and head to practice! All cheerleaders will practice and a few coaches will work with me team by team to get them sized! (We are missing 2 sample sizes in the order. We are unsure what those sizes are so please be patient as we work through this!)

We will have a table set that myself and 2 coaches will be at. We’ll have each team 1 by 1 (starting with littlest first) send over 3 kids at a time. If you see your kid come to us then you can come up as well to double check sizing and ask questions). Please refrain from asking question until it’s your child’s turn as we want this to run as smooth as possible without interrupting practice.

If you cannot attend tonight please reach out to me directly so we can discuss! These have to be ordered STAT!
