Description from forest service:

Kaibab Pit is west of State Route 64 and south of Kaibab Lake off Forest Road 47. The pit contains seasoned ponderosa pine that the Williams Division of the Arizona Department of Transportation is cutting and hauling from easements along Interstate 40. Tree lengths vary, and woodcutters will need a saw to cut
pieces to size. All firewood removed must be less than 8 feet long. Free firewood permits are available at the Williams Ranger District Office, 742 S. Clover Road in Williams.

Grief and pain are heavy burdens to carry alone, and finding ways to process those feelings in a healthy way can be challenging. For this upcoming Tuesday’s circle, we are creating a culturally safe, supportive environment to discuss “Dealing with Grief and Pain without Numbing Agents.”

Together, we will focus on finding healthier paths forward, leaning on community wisdom, and supporting one another through life’s hardest seasons. 🌿
