Rocky is a smiling and sweet lab that loves people. He came as a stray and has waited a long time to be noticed. Sadly being a black dog he is passed up. He gets along with other dogs and has not met a stranger. Can you give Rocky a home?

Meet Oreo 🐾

Oreo’s owner passed away and family did not want to keep him, so this little guy has sadly found himself homeless. He is a sweet and amazingly loving dog that will be your best friend. He has not lived with another but has shown no aggression with dogs through the fence or on walks. He does cling to his human and has growled when other dogs come close to his human, so a home without other dogs is best. He is an insecure dog right now and needs some stability in life. Can that be you?

He is small around 20 pounds and estimated to be 3-5 years old.

Talk about a face of cuteness 🐾

Ranger is a young heeler that is looking for a home. He was living in a pen with a female when he was surrendered to the rescue. Sadly the female was not able to be rescued with him, but Ranger is looking for a loving home. He has done well on social interactions through the fence with other dogs, but definitely likes the females best. He would do best as an only dog and an owner that has breed experience. He is a loving dog and really wants human attention more than another dog.

Calling all Rottie lovers 📣📣

Rooster is a super sweet Rottweiler around 3 years old that is looking for a home. He has showed a wonderful playful side since coming to the rescue, but is still fearful around men. He likely has been used as a guard dog and not socialized properly. He would benefit from someone who has experience with the breed. He has been good with other dogs, but is learning how to engage in play still. A calm dog is best as a buddy for him or a home where he is the only dog.

This wonderful sweet girl was rescued after hanging around someone house and no one claiming her. She has a leg injury that did not get proper medical treatment and is now going to have her deformed leg amputated. We already have a vet bill over $3,000 and another surgery will add to it. If anyone is willing to donate toward Avery’s surgery or the current vet bill at Bridgeport Animal Hospital, the dogs would be delighted 🐾

All donations go towards vet care, dog food, and all the things dogs need (like flea/tick prevention, beds, toys, treats, etc)! Every donation helps!

Donations help with facility needs as well such as our monthly electrical bill ($900-$1200) and building payments ($413)
