I am a devoted Jesus follower; He loves me fiercely and my heart has been His in return since I was 3 years old and first came to know Him. Rachel Marie Wells is my name. While I am the one who does write and sing each piece produced, Music On A Mission is currently comprised of my husband Shane, me and our kids, Clara and Samson. We may appear to be a “normal fami

ly” on the outside but our journey has been anything but normal, full of tremendous pain, heartache and even greater joy and victory – our story is what inspires us to give to others, out of what we have. Time after time, God has proven to my husband, me, and our kids, that He has plans for us right where we are; plans that will be beautiful and satisfying for our lives and for others as we trust Him. So, in our constant growing, learning, mistakes and successes, we are here as His vessels, just leaning on His Holy Spirit daily to be faithful with the gift of life He has given us.

Our Story

Music on a Mission: Who we are…

Who are we?

We are a down to earth group of friends, with our families, who are devoted Jesus followers; He loves us fiercely and our hearts have been His in return for most of our lives. Our ages and backgrounds vary but our passion for music and for helping others through our music is the same, the common ground that binds our hearts and music together.

Singer-Songwriter Rachel Marie Wells is the Founder of MOAM as well as the lead vocalist and rhythm on the acoustic guitar. Born in Mission Hills, CA but raised in both Southern California and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, she began singing at the age of six. Rachel has spent many years traveling and sharing her voice and passion for seeing others both discover and fulfill their God given dreams. She is married to the man of her dreams and momma to three phenomenal kids and the best doggie and cat sons ever!

Heather Hall brings her warm heart, earthy toned, alto harmonies and skills on keys to MOAM. With a strong background in music, Heather spent several years traveling and singing, with a focus on helping young people heal from broken lives and find lasting peace through Jesus. Heather is an Oklahoma native and currently resides in Broken Arrow, OK with her remarkable husband and four kids.

David Pelkey is our top-notch, Canadian, lead guitarist, drummer, singer and songwriter, whose passion for Jesus, people and music comes through in full force with every instrument he plays. David has spent many years serving through music and has been the Praise and Worship Pastor for the past several years, of a local church whose focus is especially on prayer, evangelism and world missions. David and his precious wife Hannah reside in Broken Arrow, OK.

We may appear to be “normal people” just doing our thing and having fun. While all of that is true, there is so much more than meets the eye. Our journey’s have been anything but normal, full of tremendous pain, heartache and even greater joy and victory – our individual stories are what inspire us to use our music, through MOAM, to rally behind others pursuing their dreams and passions against all odds.
