🚲❤️ A special day for five incredible children!

This past weekend, five Coachella Valley children received custom adaptive bikes through our FREEDOM Program, each designed to meet their individual needs.

For these children and their families, these bikes mean so much more than a ride. They offer opportunities for greater independence, mobility, and inclusion.

Since 2010, Variety has provided 152 adaptive and mobility devices, helping local children experience more of life's special moments.

🍿 Summer smiles were on full display at our annual Ice Screen Social!

Thanks to the generosity of the Mary Pickford Theatre, 13 Variety families enjoyed a sensory-friendly screening of Minions vs. Monsters, complete with complimentary popcorn and refreshments. It was a fun-filled afternoon where children could simply be themselves and families could make lasting memories together. 💙

✨ Meet Michelle Rivas, our Development Intern at Variety Children’s Charity of the Desert! ✨

Michelle is a senior at California State University, San Bernardino, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Management. She is passionate about nonprofit work, community impact, and supporting organizations that create meaningful opportunities for children and families.

Michelle has been a wonderful addition to our team, bringing enthusiasm, dedication, and a fresh perspective to everything she does. We're grateful to have her as part of the Variety family and look forward to seeing all she accomplishes as we continue creating brighter futures for children throughout the Coachella Valley. ❤️

After a devastating car accident, Maria faced months of recovery and uncertainty. Throughout her journey, Variety connected her with resources and provided support when she needed it most.

Today, Maria is rebuilding her life and creating new memories with her daughter, Haylee. One of those special moments was taking Haylee to see the beach for the very first time. ❤️

As Maria shared:
"Now that I have a car, nothing can stop me in what I can provide for our future."
