Their fight isn't over. Both will remain hospitalized for at least two more nights, and we may need additional help covering their continued medical care.

💔🐾 MILA & MILO'S RESCUE STORY

Meet Mila and Milo, two precious puppies found abandoned on the streets, severely malnourished and desperately searching for food and shelter.

These little ones approached homes hoping for a meal or a safe place to rest. Sadly, instead of kindness, they were reportedly chased away and mistreated. 💔

Thankfully, they were rescued and are finally safe. When offered food, they ate as though they hadn't eaten in days.

Little Mila also has an injured front leg, and we don't know what happened to her.

Just when we thought their lives were finally taking a turn for the better, we received heartbreaking news.

BOTH PUPPIES TESTED POSITIVE FOR PARVO, a potentially deadly virus, especially for puppies already weakened by malnutrition.

🚨 Mila and Milo were transported to our veterinarian in Mexicali, Mexico, where they remain hospitalized and are receiving the treatment they urgently need.

Our initial fundraising goal was $500, including $300 for their first two nights of hospitalization. Thanks to our wonderful supporters, that goal has been met! ❤️

However, their recovery is taking longer than we hoped, and additional hospitalization and medical expenses are expected.

🙏 Please continue helping us give these babies a fighting chance.

Their little bodies have already endured so much. We are praying they find the strength to pull through and finally experience the happy, healthy lives they deserve.

🌸❤️ A BEAUTIFUL HAPPY ENDING FOR PEONY AND HER BABIES! 🐾

Some rescue stories leave an extra special imprint on our hearts, and this is one of them. 💕

Our sweet Peony, now Rosie, and all three of her precious boys have found their forever families!

What makes this story even sweeter is that Rosie's amazing foster family fell so deeply in love with her and little Timmy that they decided to make them permanent members of their family. Sometimes the ones we open our homes to temporarily end up staying in our hearts forever. ❤️

And there's more wonderful news! Rocky and Johnny have each been adopted into loving homes of their own!

We are especially grateful to Rosie's foster family for giving this little family a safe place to land, for loving them through every step of their journey, and for making sure they had the beautiful beginning they deserved.

To all their adopters, thank you for seeing just how special these little souls are.

From a mama and her babies needing a chance to four beautiful lives surrounded by love. This is everything we hope for in rescue.

❤️🐾 THEY HAD EACH OTHER… NOW THEY HAVE A FAMILY! 🏡❤️

From being dumped on the streets to finding a loving forever home, Mama Wilma and her little Pebbles have a beautiful new beginning!

When these two precious girls came into our care, we knew we wanted to keep them together. After everything they had been through, they deserved a future filled with love and happiness.

And then a wonderful family came along who saw exactly what we saw — a mama and her baby who belonged together. ❤️

We are thrilled to announce that Wilma and Pebbles have been adopted TOGETHER! 🐾

Their days of uncertainty are behind them, and they can now enjoy the comfort of a home and the love of a family to call their own.

To their amazing adopters, thank you for opening your hearts and home to both girls. You've given them the beautiful future we had hoped for.

❤️🐾 HAPPY TAILS — PADME, NOW REN! 🏡❤️

Back in March, we rescued our precious Padme ( ) from the San Bernardino City Shelter, where she had spent far too long waiting for a second chance after being separated from her puppies.

From the moment we met her, we knew she was special. Of all the wonderful dogs we have rescued, Padme is truly one of the sweetest souls we have ever known. So gentle, affectionate, and full of love, with a playful spirit that brings a smile to everyone around her. ❤️

We always dreamed of finding her a family who would cherish her and a furry companion to share her happy days with.

And today, that dream has come true! 🏡💕

Our beautiful Padme, now lovingly named Ren, has found her forever home and a wonderful furry brother to play with!

To her amazing family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing this special girl and giving her the love, happiness, and security she has always deserved.

Sweet Ren, you may never know how many hearts you have touched or how many people were cheering for your happy ending. But you will always have a special place in ours. ❤️

❤️🐾 PRINCESS UPDATE — OCTOBER 8TH — ONE WEEK IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA! 🐾❤️

We are SO happy to share that our sweet Princess arrived safely in San Diego last Friday! Tomorrow will mark one full week since she arrived at her foster home! 🙏❤️

After everything this beautiful girl has been through, knowing that she is finally in a loving home fills our hearts with so much happiness.

Princess has been spending this past week getting familiar with her new surroundings and adjusting to her new life. Her wonderful foster family has welcomed her with open arms, open hearts, and so much love. ❤️

We know that adjusting to a new home takes time, especially after everything Princess has experienced. We are hoping that with patience, kindness, and lots of love, she will continue to feel more comfortable, safe, and loved each day.

This is such a beautiful new chapter for our Princess, and we couldn't be happier for her! 👑🐾

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has followed her journey, donated toward her medical care, sent supplies, shared her story, and kept her in your prayers. You all helped make this beautiful moment possible. 🙏❤️

💔🐾 PACO NEEDS US AGAIN… AND THIS TIME, WE NEED YOUR HELP 🐾💔

Some dogs stay in your heart forever.

Paco is one of them. ❤️

He was one of the very first dogs rescued by Loving PAWsabilities. Paco came to us from Mexicali after a very difficult beginning. He had experienced neglect and mistreatment, leaving him frightened and unsure whether people could be trusted.

But little by little, Paco learned something new.

He learned that hands could be gentle.
He learned that people could be kind.
He learned how to trust and how to love. ❤️

And eventually, Paco found a family.

For the past 5–6 years, we believed our sweet boy had found his forever home.

Sadly, sometimes life circumstances change. Paco's family's living situation has changed, and they have made the difficult decision to return him to our rescue so we can find a home better suited to his needs during his senior years.

There is no anger and no blame. Our only concern is Paco and making this transition as gentle as possible for him. ❤️

🐾 ABOUT PACO

Paco is approximately 9–10 years old and 30–35 lbs. He is good with dogs and cats. As he has gotten older, he needs more frequent opportunities to go outside and may occasionally have a potty accident.

We aren't looking for a perfect home.

We're looking for a patient and loving one.

Someone who understands senior dogs. Someone who will give him the extra potty breaks he needs, a comfortable place to sleep, a gentle hand to reassure him and, most importantly, the security of knowing:

This time, he is home for good. ❤️

Paco has already had to start his life over once.

We are looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or loving forever home for Paco.

❤️🙏 OLLIE UPDATE — HE’S BACK HOME! 🙏❤️

After hospitalization and extensive testing, we still don’t have a definite answer for what is causing the muscle loss on one side of Ollie’s head.

Since his tests did not reveal a clear cause, our veterinarian is treating him for now as a possible trauma and monitoring how he responds. If we don’t see enough improvement, the next step will be an MRI.

❤️ The good news: Ollie has been back home with us for about a week, and we are already seeing some encouraging little changes. He is eating much better, has gained some weight, and seems happier and stronger. 🙏

For now, we are giving his treatment time to work and praying with all our hearts that he continues improving and an MRI will not be necessary.

We also want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated toward Ollie’s medical care. His veterinary bill came to approximately 9,000 pesos (about $500), and together we raised $250 toward his care. ❤️🐾

Every donation, share, prayer, and kind message means more than you know. Thank you for helping us continue fighting for dogs like Ollie who deserve a chance to heal and know what it feels like to be loved.

❤️🐾 ATOM STILL NEEDS A FOSTER! 🐾❤️

Sweet Atom is still waiting for someone to open their home to him. He’s only 1.5 years old, fully vetted, and ready for a fresh start.

Atom is good with other dogs AND cats ❤️
Prefers cats 😊
He’s a sweet little guy who just needs some help and patience with his potty training while he adjusts to a new routine.

Fostering doesn’t cost you anything — our rescue provides everything Atom needs, including food, supplies, and veterinary care. You provide the safe home, patience, and love. ❤️

💔🌈 IN LOVING MEMORY OF ODIN — OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN 🌈💔

Today we are sharing the update we never wanted to write.

Over the weekend, our sweet little Odin became critically ill and began having seizures. He was hospitalized, and we did everything possible to give his tiny body a chance to fight.

We hoped the medications would control the seizures. We hoped he would turn a corner.

But the seizures kept coming.

Despite treatment, Odin’s little body began having seizure after seizure, with barely any time to recover in between. 💔

When it became clear that his seizures could no longer be controlled and that he was suffering, we had to make the heartbreaking decision that no rescue ever wants to make.

We let our little Odin go peacefully. 💔🌈

Odin was only a baby. He deserved to grow up. He deserved to run, play, find his forever family, and experience the beautiful life we had imagined for him.

Unfortunately, sometimes love and determination simply aren't enough to save them.

But Odin did not leave this world alone or unloved. He mattered. He was loved. And people fought for him until the very end. ❤️

We want to give a very special thank you to Huellitas Valiosas Ana Cota for being there for Odin, caring for him, comforting him, and surrounding him with love when he needed it most. We will always be grateful. 🙏❤️

This is one of the hardest parts of rescue. We wish with all our hearts that Odin's story could have had a different ending.

🌈 Run free, sweet Odin.

No more seizures.
No more pain.

Just run, little one. ❤️🐾

You were here for such a short time, but you left a forever mark on our hearts.

Rest peacefully, sweet boy.
