On June 27th, our community is coming together to plant MORE fruit trees, build raised garden beds, and create a Food Forest that will provide food, shade, and help reduce flooding for families in South Melbourne 💚

Global Big Day is an annual celebration of the birds around you. No matter where you are, go outside on 9 May, help celebrate World Migratory Bird Day, and share the birds you find with eBird.

Participating is easy—you can even be part of Global Big Day from home. If you can spare 5 or 10 minutes, report your bird observations to eBird online or with our free eBird Mobile app. If you have more time, submit several checklists of birds throughout the day. You never know what you might spot. Your observations help us better understand global bird populations through products like these animated abundance maps brought to you by eBird Science.

We will be giving away FREE YAMS to families in need!

Come as you are or dress in your festive costume to enjoy a safe space to trick or treat (all vendors will have treats to give away), enjoy free games, free popcorn, a DJ, an aerial dancer, bounce house, obstacle course, gaming truck, and more!

Everybody is welcome, we have activities for youth and community members of all ages!
