The General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations, was founded in 1890 and chartered by the 56th United States Congress in 1901. June 17th marks our second No Cook Wednesday at the Palatka Woman's Club. Just like in May, we are cooking up something fantastic so you don't have to. The menu is slow smoked pulled pork with baked beans, slaw and garlic bread for $12 AND you can add dessert for $5. Hey ladies! Let's meet up for Happy Hour next Tuesday (6/9) from 5-6:30 at The Fillin' Station in downtown Palatka on St Johns Avenue... Last month we hit Steamboat Wi***es and had great conversation and tacos - June cries out for smash burgers and an onion ring tower! No need to rsvp, just come have fun!

Eleven of our members spent the morning at the Moody Road Fire Station where Chief Taylor began with a classroom style operations overview, followed with a lengthy Q&A session. To illustrate some of the on-site continuing training he asked for volunteers. Members doned fire equipment and attempted to walk (fail), explored the maze (scary), broke down doors (go Erin!) and took a swing on the ladder truck. Like most of our activities, we learned a lot and had alot of fun.

Come enjoy two amazing bands tonight from 6pm to 9pm at the Main Blue Crab Tent and toss money indiscriminately into our club tip jar! On "tap" are Tiffany Iniestra, Elizabeth Holiday-van Rensburg, Rhea Smith for sure, along with MAYBE a guest appearance by Erin Hewes and other superstar members...We will be pouring beer for a good cause, expertly, and hopefully not wearing most of it. Maybe.

Our 2026 donation of 2026 stuffed animals for Putnam County First Responders was AMAZING! We would like to thank FL/GA S.A.F.E. for partnering with us and Kimberly Daley for organizing every, single emergency vehicle with flashing lights to meet on the Clubhouse front lawn! Here are a few highlights...

Our No Cook Wednesday Drive-thru Dinner went off without a hitch. Diners polled agreed it was the best lasagna ever and we had great fun putting it together. We're working on the menu for June 17th and will be sharing it with you soon!
