I want to take a moment to express some very sincere gratitude to our entire Board of Directors.

Serving on this Board is a volunteer commitment, but I don't think people always realize just how much personal time our directors give to this community. It's time away from their families, evenings spent making phone calls, reaching out to vendors, following up on issues, checking in with me to make sure things don't fall through the cracks, and taking calls at hours when most people are finished with their day.

They don't just show up for meetings. They are involved, they care, and they put in the work. And quite frankly, we have a pretty freaking awesome Board.

The Board also doesn't always get to see what I get to see. They don't hear every phone call or see every person who stops by the office to say they've noticed the improvements in our community or simply to say thank you. I want them to know those conversations happen more often than they probably realize. There are a lot of people who see what you're doing, and they appreciate you.

There are also a few people whose efforts I want to recognize specifically.

A special thank you to our Board Director for the countless hours and determination it took to get our swimming pool back open for the community. You stuck with it and made it happen.

To our President's wife, who for months has dedicated nearly every morning and evening to putting the robotic pool vacuum in, removing it, cleaning it, charging it, and getting it ready for another day β€” thank you. That's a tremendous amount of volunteer time quietly given to this community.

And on a personal note, thank you to my husband, who has been my rock while we've been short-staffed. He has worked tirelessly after working his fulltime job beside me, stepped in wherever needed, and given countless hours of his own time to help us keep things going.

These are just a few examples of something much bigger. Every member of this Board contributes in different ways, and I don't want any of you to ever think that what you give goes unnoticed.

The hours, the phone calls, the problem-solving, the sacrifices, and the time away from your own families matter.

To our entire Board and all those who pitchb in: thank you. I am incredibly grateful to work alongside you. ❀️

L.H.
