Misfits and Creatures will be temporarily closed for a few months due to family. Carissa lost her grandmother yesterday. Another family member will be in the hospital for a month. And Carissa had an Mri on her back and some health issues were found. The animals in foster are still available for adoption. However there is some good news. The cancer scare for Carissa Ovaries turned out to be a cyst and is completely gone. The rescue will not be closed permanently. Just for a few months to get human healths resolved. Yesterday was a big loss for Carissa Spradlin and her grandmother. If she does not answer phone, please be patient with her. Keeps us in your prayers. If you would like to donate to the rescue in honor of Patsy Phillips, Carissa grandma instead of donating flowers you can.

Urgent foster or rescue needed for this entire family. They are not in the rescue yet and still with owner. All my fosters are full. I need someone to take mom and the 10 puppies, so we can find placement for each individual pup and mom. If you can foster or are another rescue please call or text Carissa 623-326-5082. Location Palacios, Tx I actually kept a puppy from their last litter that was surrendered. So some may end up looking like the pup in last photo. His name is Goomba and he is not available for adoption lol. And it is not guaranteed they will all look like Goomba as daddy dog is unknown and could be multpile. We will provide vet work, food, and kennels for whoever can foster them for Misfits rescue but it must be entire family.

Mr. Crabs is progressing really well. He is now available for adoption. He is good with dogs and cats. Walks very well on a leash. Potty trained. Good with kids. However he is going to be special needs. He is heartworm positive but is receiving treatments. He is allergic to chicken so his food can't have any chicken in it. Please help is raise funds for Casper. He came in malnourished, pe**le infection, heartworm positive, worms, flea infestation, and a few scraps. He has seen the vet and is on antibiotics.
