The West Kentucky Labor Day Committee is proud to announce this year’s Grand Marshal, Kyle Henderson! 🎉🇺🇸
Kyle is a proud member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 184 and currently serves as an International Representative for the United Association.
For more than 15 years, Kyle served the members of Local 184 as both Business Agent and Business Manager, dedicating countless hours to advancing the interests of working men and women throughout Western Kentucky.
His service to organized labor extends well beyond Local 184. Kyle is a former President of the Kentucky Pipe Trades Association and a former President of the West Kentucky Building & Construction Trades, where he worked to strengthen the skilled trades and advocate for working families across our region.
The West Kentucky Labor Day Committee is honored to recognize Kyle for his many years of service, leadership, and dedication to the labor movement.
Please join us on Monday, September 7th, as we celebrate Kyle Henderson and the hardworking men and women who keep Western Kentucky moving forward.

Did y'all see?! We are gonna have a cold front move through on Labor Day!!! Bring a chair and stay a while!!

📅Thursday, Sept. 3

🥵Good morning friends...I wish I had something new to tell you about, but this relentless heat continues on. Some spots could make a run to near 100° today, with heat index readings 105-110°.

😐We will get a brief "cool down" for Labor Day....all the way down to the low 90s for a day or so. The humidity will be a bit lower then as well.

🔥The heat dome will make a comeback next week, sending high temps back in the mid 90s by mid-week.

We are only 1 week away from Labor Day!! I hope you're all as excited as we are! I am finalizing the list of entrants today! Please get me your registration if you haven't done so! There are a few that have reached out for registration forms that have not returned them! We are going to be doing the line-up the same way as we did last year. The labor unions will lead the way and the bands and other floats will follow behind. There is no set order. I will be contacting all registrants personally and letting them know where they need to stage atleast 45 minutes before the start of the parade! Looking forward to seeing everyone! Dont forget to stick around after the parade for the live music, inflatables, food trucks and the 2nd annual car show!!

Good afternoon!!! I hope everyone is getting as excited as I am for this years Labor day parade!! The committee is working hard to plan another great parade and after parade celebration!!
This year we will have the 2nd annual Labor Day car-show as well as live music, food trucks, inflatables and other fun activities for the kids!!

Put it on your calendar!!! Monday, September 7th, at 9:30am. On Broadway in Downtown Paducah, from 13th st all the way to 2nd st!
We hope everyone who comes out to enjoy the parade will also make their way over to the Farmers Market for all of the festivities after the parade!!

167 days until Labor Day 2026!! We are starting the plans for this year's parade and after parade celebration!! We had an incredible event last year and we want to make this year's event even bigger and better!!
